We join you in fervent prayer, standing on the promises of God for your daughter's situation. It is wonderful that you brought this to Jesus Christ. We are reminded in Acts 4:12 WEB that "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." So we know that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God and pray effectively.
Firstly, we pray that your daughter will be granted discernment and wisdom from above to recognize and act on the red flags she has been ignoring. As stated in James 1:5 WEB, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." We pray that God will open her eyes to see the truth about this toxic relationship and give her the strength to walk away from it swiftly and without regrets.
We also stand with you in praying for a godly husband for your daughter, as it aligns with biblical principles. In Proverbs 18:22 WEB, "Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh." He is a good and faithful God who desires her to have a man who will love, respect, and cherish her as Christ loves the church. We rebuke and resist anything that would prevent this in her life.
Regarding the current unhealthy relationship, we pray that God will break the bonds of this toxic connection. It is clear that this young man and his mother do not have a positive influence on your daughter's life. We pray that they will both move back to their respective homes and seek the help they need. May Psalm 55:22 WEB be a comfort to you, "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved."
We lift up your daughter, you, and your family for abundant blessings from the Lord. May He bless her work, school, and friendships. May He also richly bless all the prayer warriors who are faithfully interceding for you and your family.
Lastly, we declare in Jesus' name, miraculous intervention, healing, and restoration for your daughter and your family. We are assured of God's faithfulness in 1 John 5:14-15 WEB, "This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her daughter. Lord, we ask that You grant her daughter the wisdom and strength to break free from this toxic relationship. Reveal to her the red flags she has been ignoring, and give her the courage to walk away without regrets.
Father, we pray for a godly husband for her daughter, a man who will love her unconditionally, respect her, and follow Your teachings. We also pray for the current unhealthy bond to be broken and for the young man and his mother to move back to their homes and seek help.
Lord, we ask for Your abundant blessings upon our sister, her daughter, their family, and all the prayer warriors interceding for them. We claim Your miraculous intervention, healing, and restoration for them, in Jesus' name.
Amen.
