We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's intervention and protection for your daughter and your family. It is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. The scripture says that Therefore, God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Let's pray together for this situation.
Father, You tell us to be strong in the Lord and in the strength of Your might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. (Ephesians 6:10-11 WEB). We ask that You surround your daughter and your family with Your full armor and a hedge of protection, guarding them from all witchcraft, controlling, destructive, turmoil-causing, disrespectful, isolating, sneaky, and manipulating spirits.
Lord, You promise that You will guide us in truth, and teach us. (John 16:13 WEB, Psalm 25:5 WEB) We pray for truthfulness in your daughter's life, that she would be honest about the toxicity of her relationship.
Father, You tell us that parents have a responsibility to their children, to take care of them, and teach them. (Ephesians 6:4 WEB) We ask that You teach this young man's mother to stop putting undue responsibilities on your daughter and to take care of her own son. Lord, block her ungodly advice, living arrangements, and influence away from your daughter forever.
Lord, we pray for a unbreakable godly bond for you and your children forever. Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good. (Romans 12:9 WEB) We ask for guidance in teaching your daughter your words and how to apply them in her life in Jesus name.
We also pray for the young man and his mother, that they would come to know the love and truth of Jesus Christ. May they repent of their actions and seek to live in a way that honors God. He desires for all to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. (1 Timothy 2:3-4 WEB)
We encourage you to stay strong, trust in God and lean into prayer together with your family. We know that God can heal, protect and save. He can turn the hearts of men and women and change any situation. We know that the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. (James 5:16 WEB)
We also encourage you to lead your daughter and family with kindness, love, and understanding. Teach them the Word of God and demonstrate it in your own life. Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one. (Colossians 4:6 WEB)
Lastly, regarding the relationship of your daughter, we are not told the extent of this or if it is a courtship under the guidance of God and His Word. We are told to be not unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness? And what agreement has Christ with Belial? Or what portion has a believer with an unbeliever? (2 Corinthians 6:14-15 WEB)
If the relationship is not one that is as a courtship leading to a godly marriage then it should be addressed. We are told to flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB)
We want you to know that our hearts and prayers are with you and your family. Be at peace and trust God that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28 WEB)
