In times of uncertainty and danger, we turn to God's Word for comfort and assurance. We are reminded that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore, let's put on the whole armor of God, that we may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand, Ephesians 6:11-13 WEB. It is only by the name of our Savior Jesus Christ that we are delivered from evil. We condemn any request that does not give glory and honor to Jesus Christ.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine protection and guidance. You are our refuge and our fortress, our God in whom we trust, Psalm 91:2 WEB.
We pray for Your hedge of protection to surround us and those we love, like it did for Job and kept him safe from the enemy, Job 1:10 WEB. We ask that You guide us in Your righteousness and make Your way straight before our face, Psalm 5:8 WEB.
Father, help us to be sober and self-controlled. Help us to be watchful, since our adversary the devil walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour, 1 Peter 5:8 WEB. Help us not to be ignorant of the strategies that the accuser of the brethren uses against us. Rather Father, help us to be wise as serpents, and harmless as doves, Matthew 10:16 WEB.
Help us not to fear those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, Father, help us to fear You, who are able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna, Matthew 10:28 WEB.
We ask for Your angels to encamp around us and deliver us Psalm 34:7 WEB. We praise You, Father, for You will command Your angels concerning us, to guard us in all our ways, Psalm 91:11 WEB.
In all these things, Father, help us to be more than conquerors through Him who loved us. Help us to be confident that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from Your love, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord, Romans 8:37-39 WEB.
Teach us to take up the whole armor of God, so that we may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand, Ephesians 6:13 WEB.
Thank You, Father, for Your protection and guidance. We are able to withstand any storm through Jesus Christ our Lord.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Let us stand firm in faith, knowing that God is faithful, who will not allow us to be tempted above what we are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that we may be able to endure it, 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB.
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powered for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 WEB.
Reflecting on God's Promises:
No weapon that is formed against us will prosper; and every tongue that will rise against us in judgment we will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of us, says the LORD, Isaiah 54:17 WEB.
But whoever listens to me will dwell securely, and shall be at ease, without fear of evil, Proverbs 1:33 WEB.
Let us trust in the LORD with all our hearts, and do not lean on our own understanding. In all our ways we shall acknowledge him, and he will make our paths straight, Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
