We understand your desire for God's protection, and we stand with you in prayer. Let's remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. As it says in Psalm 91:1-2, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'"
Firstly, we need to ensure that our requests are aligned with God's will and that we are in a right relationship with Him through faith in Jesus Christ. It's important to acknowledge that protection and blessings which can be found in Psalm 91 are for Christians whose sins are forgiven and are in a right relationship with the Lord. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Just read this in John 14:6: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
Now we are ready to join you in prayer.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine protection over this precious life. We pray that You will surround them with Your favor as with a shield and keep them safe from all harm and danger according to Psalm 5:12. Guide them in the paths of righteousness for Your name's sake, and help them to walk in Your will. Grant them the peace that surpasses all understanding, knowing that You are always with them, guarding and protecting according to Philippians 4:7.
Lord Jesus, we ask that You direct their steps and keep them from the schemes of the enemy. Help them to discern Your voice and follow Your leading. We ask for Your angels to encamp around them and deliver them from every evil work. We rebuke any plot or plan of the enemy to bring harm or destruction, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper according to Isaiah 54:17.
Father, we also pray for their emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being. May they find comfort and solace in Your presence, knowing that You are always with them. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them as encouraged in 1 Peter 5:7.
In Jesus Christ's name, we pray for deliverance from every evil work.
Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that God is faithful and that His promises are true. Stand firm in your faith, and trust in His unfailing love. As it says in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
