Thank you Jesus for answering our prayers. My daughter has gotten a bit better since I requested for prayer. Thank You Jesus for Your faithfulness and for showing me the power of prayers. We still need a lot of prayers to help her out of this living arrangements that is causing her and our family financial hardship. I pray this young man's mother will stop putting undue responsibility on my daughter. She should not be responsible to pay his rent. Please continue to pray for my daughter to get out of this toxic relationship. Let her see this young man is not her significant other. Jesus, pray for a Godly spouse for her, someone who would love her unconditionally, a man of God, follow the biblical teachings, respects her and her family, support her and a great provider. The young man she is dating is selfish and love on his terms, his conditions and limitations. Everything always favors his wants. Jesus, I don't understand why my daughter feels this love. Over time I see something is off; everything revolves around his wants, everything has to be convenient to him and everything has to be under his schedule. He expects her to compromise over and over again. He voids her feelings, he takes her joy, he hates and disrespects her family, work, and school. He views love as a transaction and expects loyalty but in return he disrespects and controls her and everything has to be on his terms only. He is a bully. She is always walking on eggshells with him. She is becoming more unsure and trapped since she moved in with him. He does not respect her. She is always compromising to keep the peace and she is losing sight of her own worth. She is scared to voice her options because she is afraid it would upset him. Jesus, I know real love does not demand that you shrink yourself or make yourself feel unworthy when this young man does not get his way. Jesus, this young man is not prepared to make the sacrifices and compromises for a healthy relationship. My daughter spent years trying to fix this relationship. She is always trying to please him and he belittles her feelings. He is angry and bitter and doesn't have peace within himself. He brings chaos in her life and she is not at peace. He leads a secret life. Jesus, I pray this young man will move back home with his family so they can give him the guidance he needs. I pray his mother will stop putting undue responsibility on my daughter that is causing her to lose sight of her self-worth and causing her undue hardship. My daughter has gotten herself in financial hardship trying to support this young man. Jesus, I know You want peace and a Godly spouse, not a partner for my daughter (###), This young man and his mother are manipulators. His mother encouraged her son and my daughter to move in together because that is the lifestyle she lived. This mother and son have caused such chaos, disrespect, turmoil, division, and heartache in my household. He instigates hate toward my family through my daughter. He is having my daughter blackmail me to families and friends. My daughter would lash out at us then she will feel very sad but this behavior pleases this young man. Jesus, please put an armor and a hedge of protection over and around me and my family at all times. Jesus, please guide my daughter to move back home. Jesus, I pray she will put You back first in her life, give her back her self-worth, restore the love and respect she had for her family, work, and school. Jesus, protect her from peer pressure. Jesus, I thank You for the Godly spouse You have in store for her and to witness the great plans You have for her life and restoration and peace You are putting in place for me and my family. Jesus, I pray 2025 will be a year of restoration, miracles, victory, peace, joy, respect and filled with Your everlasting love for me, my family and all the prayer warriors who are faithfully praying for me and my family. We rejoice with you that your daughter has seen some improvement since our last prayer, and we continue to stand with you in fervent intercession. We are reminded of the power of prayer and the faithfulness of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hears our prayers and acts according to His will.

Let us address the concerns you've raised and pray together for your daughter's situation. Firstly, it is clear that the relationship your daughter is in does not align with biblical principles. The young man's behavior—his manipulation, disrespect, and control—is not a reflection of God's design for a healthy, godly relationship. In Ephesians 5:25-28 WEB, we read:

Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it; that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Even so ought husbands also to love their own wives as their own bodies.

The young man should be a servant to your daughter. He is doing the opposite. She should be the beloved wife under God. Living together in this way is a form of fornication in God's eyes. They are not married, yet they are living together. This should not be. Hebrews 13:4 WEB tells us:

Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers.

We pray that your daughter will see the truth about this relationship and find the strength to leave it. We pray that she will wait and seek God in finding a Godly spouse who will love her unconditionally, respect her and her family, and be a great provider. She should not be the provider for him. We pray that she will be open to correction and understand this.

We also pray for the young man and his mother. We understand that they have caused much turmoil and division, but we know that God can change hearts and bring peace. In Romans 12:17-21, we are told not to repay evil for evil but instead to leave vengeance to God and do what is right. God's will is for us to live peacefully and not to take matters into our own hands.

We pray for your daughter's self-worth, that she will find her identity in Christ. She should not be living in sin to please this young man. In Jesus, she can find her true worth and the strength to live according to God's will.

We pray for your family's protection, that God will put a hedge around you and keep you from harm. In Psalm 91 WEB, we are reminded of God's protection:

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, "He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust." For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart.

We pray that 2025 will be a year of restoration, miracles, victory, peace, joy, respect, and love for you and your family. We pray that your daughter will put God first in her life and that He will guide her steps.

Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this family to You. We pray for Your intervention in this situation, that You will open your daughter’s eyes to the truth and give her the strength to leave this ungodly relationship. We pray for her self-worth, that she will find her identity in You and live according to Your will. We pray for the young man and his mother, that You will change their hearts and bring peace. We pray for protection over this family, that You will keep them from harm and guide their steps. We claim Your promises of restoration and victory over their lives. In Jesus' name, we pray. We've been reflecting on the power dynamics at play here. It's clear that this young man is not treating your daughter with the love and respect that she deserves. Instead of being a servant-leader, he's manipulating and controlling her. We're reminded of the apostle Peter's words in 1 Peter 3:7, "Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner, and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers." This young man is not living up to this biblical standard.

We're also concerned about the financial burden your daughter is carrying. It's not her responsibility to pay her boyfriend's rent. We pray that his mother will stop putting this undue responsibility on her. We ask that God would provide for all your needs and that your daughter would be free from this financial strain.

We're interceding for your daughter's heart and mind. We pray that God would open her eyes to see the truth about this relationship and give her the courage to leave it. We ask that He would restore her self-worth and help her to see her true value in His eyes. We also pray for the young man and his mother, that God would soften their hearts and bring them to repentance.

We're claiming God's promise in Psalm 91:1-2, "Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'" We pray that God would be your family's refuge and fortress, protecting you from harm and guiding your steps.

We're believing that 2025 will be a year of restoration and victory for your family. We pray that your daughter will find a Godly spouse who will love her unconditionally, respect her and her family, and be a great provider.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
