Cralmilan, we stand with you in prayer and petition to our Lord Jesus Christ, as we are reminded in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We pray for R, that he will be convicted to move back with his family and take up his responsibilities. We ask God to soften S's heart, so that she may stop placing undue burden on your daughter K, causing her financial hardship. We pray that S will encourage R to return home and that she will feel remorse for the division and turmoil she has caused in your family. We remind S of Ephesians 6:2 WEB: "Honor your father and mother," which is the first commandment with a promise.
We join you in praying for a hedge of protection around K, and that God will guide her to swiftly exit this toxic relationship. May she feel the freedom that comes from being released from such a bondage forever. We pray that K will move back home where she can feel worthy, focus on her school, work, and most importantly, her relationship with the Lord. We ask God to protect K from peer pressure and remind her of 1 Corinthians 15:33 WEB: "Don't be deceived! 'Evil companionships corrupt good morals.'"
We rejoice with you as you pray for a Godly spouse for K. We ask God to prepare her and bring her a spouse who loves the Lord, is a great provider, caring, understanding, supportive, and will cherish, respect, and love her and her family. We remind K of 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB: "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"
As you prayed in the name of Jesus, we are reminded in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and it is by that name that we can ask and receive from our Heavenly Father.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Cralmilan's family and their needs before You. We ask that You work in R and S's hearts, bringing conviction, repentance, and a desire to do what is right in Your eyes. We pray for K, that You will protect her, guide her, and provide her with a Godly spouse that will love and cherish her as You do. Help K to remain pure as she courts and enters marriage. We ask for godly courtship for K as she pursues a godly husband. We pray that marriage should be strongly endorsed when appropriate rather than using a reference to a partner, relationship, or similar. We rebuke the ideas of sex before or outside marriage as fornication or possibly adultery and we will address this where appropriate.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
