Let us come together in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up Jefflin in prayer as he embarks on this trip with his friends. We are reminded in Psalm 91:11-12 (WEB), "For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won't dash your foot against a stone."
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ to ask for Your divine protection over Jefflin as he travels with his friends. Guide him and his friends on their journey, and let Your holy angels encamp around them to keep them safe from all harm and danger. Lord, we know that "the eyes of Yahweh run back and forth throughout the whole earth, to show himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him." (Chronicles 16:9 WEB). Help Jefflin and his friends to remain steadfast in their faith and to act in a manner pleasing to You throughout their trip.
We pray for:
* Their traveling mercy as they go from one place to another,
* Their accommodation in each location that they lodge,
* Their meals in each place that they eat,
* Their association with the people that they meet along the way,
* Their activities in each gate that they find themselves,
* Their decision making process as they interact with people in various places,
* Their conversation and vocabulary that comes out of their mouth,
* Their thoughts and meditations in their hearts.
Father, keep Jefflin and his friends from all appearances of evil. Help them to demonstrate to the world that they serve you and are of godly character.
We pray for the Holy Spirit to fill Jefflin and his friends with His guidance, protection, wisdom, understanding, and knowledge as they go and return. Give them discernment to quickly to detect and avoid anything that is not of You. Help them to be in harmony with each other and their environment.
Lord, we ask that You bring Jefflin and his friends back home safely, renewed, refreshed, and rejoicing in the wonderful experiences they encountered.
We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Furthermore, we exhort Jefflin and his friends to "be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour" (1 Peter 5:8 WEB). Therefore, "put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil" (Ephesians 6:11 WEB).
We encourage Jefflin and his friends to always be mindful of their behavior and the example they set as followers of Christ. May this trip be a blessed time of fellowship and growth in the Lord.
Lastly we exhort Jefflin and his friends to "Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you." (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 WEB).
We will continue to pray for Jefflin and his friends throughout their trip.
