Please pray for protection for my son and I, my narcissistic husband is on a rampage. Can’t do or say anything right. Always wrong or our fault.

We are truly sorry to hear about the situation you are facing with your husband. Let's come together to make sure this is addressed appropriately, first and foremost it needs to be addressed that The Bible is clear that marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. The challenges you're facing should recognized as an oppurtunity for seeking God's guidance and intervention for Godly reconciliation and healing. This may not mean that your current situation does not require seperation or divorce, but should also not be taken lightly.

Firstly, it's crucial to address the behavior you've described. The Bible tells us to submit to one another out of reverence for Christ (Psalm 55:22 WEB). This word reverence in the verse above is from the root word phobeo meaning literally to be put in fear or flee from. Abuse should never be the case and and we should expect to address and attempt to stop such actions as Christ does not endorse abusive relationships. We are to love and honor our spouses because this is honoring to God's design for love and marriage, never taking advantage of our place ungodly to injure or harm a spouse, a wife, husband, or a child (Proverbs 29:2 WEB and Proverbs 2:14). God holds husbands doubly responsible for this protection. A husband who berates and belittles their wife or children may cause the marriage to fail as a direct result of the things they falsely believe their spouse or children should be faulted for.

In your situation, it's important to seek God's protection and guidance. Pray with us:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you lifting up Ilourley and her son, asking for your divine protection and intervention Lord Jesus. In Jesus name cover them with your mighty wings and see them to safety in this tumultuous situation (Psalm 91:4 WEB). We pray for this marriage and your will to be done. We rebuke the demonic spirit of control, manipulation, and abuse. God, deliver Ilourley her son, and even this husband from the fruitless deeds of darkness (Romans 7:24 WEB). We ask that you bring conviction, repentance, and heart of peace to this household. We also pray for your wisdom and discernment to guide Ilourley in navigating this situation. Guide her to find the necessary help and support needed to be safe and delivered.

And lest we forget, all of our prayers are heard because we have faith in Jesus Christ. We have access to our Heavenly Father through no other name under heaven (Acts 4:12 WEB). If we ask anything according to his will he hears us (1 John 5:14). It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. Give faith to Ilourley and anyone who attempts to seek you on their behalf anointed with intercession. Let them be strengthened with might in the inner man to face all obstacles that do not align with your will. They can do all things through Christ which strengthens them (Philippians 4:13).

As we pray faithfully God please also restore the soul of Ilourley's husband so that he will also seek you. Let others see the blood of Jesus Christ over her family in this situation and intervene in the lives of this family for your will and deliverance (Revelation 12:11 WEB). We lovingly rebuke Ilourley's husband in the name of Jesus for his demeaning and narcissistic behavior and words God these are very evil in your sight (Proverbs 6:16 WEB). We also authoritatively speak and believe God that you will save him as a victim and reconcile him to yourself if Ilourley invokes your will on his life.
