Regarding your former spouse if there is no attempt at reconciliation, Seek him to leave and cleave as commanded in the Word. The nature of the hardship has not been mentioned so If the hardship is alimony or child support only what has been appointed by the court should be required or expected.
It is important to seek out a spouse that is a believer and one that prays for one another for strength. The power and strength of a marriage from each spouse comes from God.
It is important to encourage your children and particularly your daughters to follow God's way no matter what the world tells them. The nature of darkness is a result of human sin from disobeying God in the beginning and has no authority as a result of faith, prayer, and applying God's word. We do not wrestle against flesh and blood but definitely come up against spirits of darkness at work in the flesh.
The power of life and death are in the hands of the tongue, and we must speak life into our families and loved ones including those that are unborn, yet to be born, and yet to be saved.
Children are a heritage and blessing from God protection is a requirement. Therefore, each member of the family must come under the same protection and court one another not keeping company with unbelievers. A husband is required by the living God to lay down his life even as Jesus did for the church. There is no greater man than one who lays his life for his family. Glory to God, grace, and peace to all who in faith believe on his name and the gospel message of salvation. Once we have salvation no name or weapon formed against God's people shall prosper.
The man or woman that fears and appropriates God's word into his or her life, and puts each person one after another as he or she takes others before his own body is a mighty one indeed. Jesus by his death on the cross gives a right that will not be taken or give a right away that is required that cannot be taken away

By the redemptive work accomplished by Jesus Christ has been a permanent bridge by those who believe by faith is to God the Father. Jesus has been given all power in heaven and in earth as born from his death from the Cross.

In closing we pray in agreement for your request in the mighty, matchless, name of Jesus Christ, and for the protection of family. Let us pray for the power and sound mind that is given by Jesus. Peace, mercy, and grace that we learn to understand is the final encouraging conclusion. Encouragement when there is no agreement with the world or its midnight musicians making tones against Almighty God. Stand firm never be deceived to think you stand lest you fall or deceived to think all is well as the devil, Satan, Beelzebub, comes against each one dead set upon stealing, killing and destroying. Isaiah 36 1 Be strong and courageous, don't be afraid or dismayed because of the king of Assyria, nor for all the multitude who is with him; for there is a greater with us than with him. With us is 'Yahweh' our God, to help us and to fight our battles.' The people rested themselves on the Lord in the name of our Lord and our God.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore put on the whole armor of God.
Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts. If we live by the Spirit, let's also walk by the Spirit. Be holy for I am Holy
