Let us come before God with this request for protection and breakthrough. While EnricoLange did not mention all of the sources of their fears, anxieties, and threats in his brief request, let us assume that all is for his physical life and godly living. There are many things that can harm us, including temptations to sin, and spiritual forces that would seek to wreck destruction. No matter what happens, we should find our hope in God. May the LORD answer us in the day of trouble. May the name of the God of Jacob set us up on high. Psalm 20:1. It is only by the blood of Jesus that we have access to the throne room of God. We must come in His name only and no other. Having financial security or being healthy is good but not guaranteed by God. We must live GOd's will and plan for our lives. The LORD is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27:1
Let us therefore put on the whole armor of God, remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Stand firm therefore, having tightened the belt of truth around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness. Our feet need to be be prepared with the Good News of peace. We must always be ready to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with everyone. There is no other name under heaven than Jesus by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12.
I will say it, Yahweh, my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. Psalm 91:2 He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart. He delivers us from the snare of the fowler, And from the deadly pestilence. He will deliver us from every evil work, and will preserve us for his heavenly Kingdom; to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen. Psalm 91:3
Let us always be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith, knowing that your brothers who are in the world are undergoing the same sufferings. May the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. To him be the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen. 1 Peter 5:8
