We understand your concern for your daughter K and the relationship she is involved in with R. We will pray with you and provide biblical guidance for this situation.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus' name in your prayer, as it is only through Him that we have access to God and salvation. As the Bible tells us, And in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
Acts 4:12 WEB. So no matter whom or where people may seek help or support, salvation can only come through the name of Jesus Christ.
It is clear that the relationship between K and R is not aligned with biblical principles. The Bible teaches us to flee sexual immorality and that fornication is a sin against our own body, which is the temple of the Holy Spirit. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 WEB.
Living together before marriage and having a child out of wedlock is not in accordance with God's will. It is important for K to understand that God's plan for intimacy and children is within the bounds of marriage between a man and a woman.
We also see the negative influence of R's mother S, who is encouraging behavior that goes against biblical teachings. We will pray that K will no longer be swayed by S's advice and instead focus on her relationship with Jesus and the values she was raised with.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You for all of your promises and blessings. It is only by the blood of Christ that we can come to you through prayer, and that prayer will be answered. For there is only one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. 1 Timothy 2:5. And that there is only one way to have eternal life, that is through a personal relationship with your son Jesus Christ. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6.
We lift up K to You, Lord, and pray that You would break the chains of this ungodly relationship. Open her eyes to see that R is not Your will for her life. Guide her to a godly spouse who will love, cherish, and respect her and her family. Strengthen my daughter and give her the wisdom and grace to leave this ungodly relationship. Grant her discernment to flee from this dark influence and relationship. Help her to to be sexually pure. Let her pure walk and actions be the light that leads her to a christain man who is also keeping his body holy and ready for the honorable estate of marriage. Prevent her from having any children with R. Prevent her from advancing a relationship with R through marriage until she has some what of an equal opportunity to pursue a Godly relationship leading to marriage with a Christian Believer. Cause her to call upon the name of the Lord, and let her desires pleasing and acceptable to you.
We pray for the preparation of her Godly spouse and the unity, love, and respect between him her and our family. Guard her from all manipulation, control, and disrespect. Equip her with the strength and wisdom to focus on her studies and graduate successfully. Provide for her needs, including health insurance, as she pursues her Master's degree.
We rebuke the spiritual forces working through S to influence K negatively. We pray that You would mitigate S's impact on K and that K would fix her eyes on You, Lord. Above all it is our desire that K would enter into a personal relationship with your son Jesus Christ so you will be able to move in this situation and lead her out of this ungodly relationship with R.
In Jesus' name, we pray for K's deliverance, guidance, and provision and we ask for strength for me as her parent. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying fervently for K and to trust in the Lord's timing and will for her life. Remind K of God's plan for relationships and marriage, and encourage her to seek God's will in all areas of her life. Stand firm in your faith, and believe that God can turn this situation around for His glory through believing in His son, Jesus. Our faith can cause Him to act in this situation.
