We understand that you're seeking protection and enjoyment for an upcoming journey, and we're here to pray and provide guidance for you. Firstly, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." Therefore, we will pray to God in the name of Jesus Christ for your safety and enjoyment during your travel.
Let's pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Carol to You. We pray for her safety during her journey. It’s always a challenge traveling and it presents complications because it is easy to get distracted, even if you are not the one driving. As such as well as a minimum, a lack of attention to the road or other cars to or behind the person driving can result in an accident. We ask, Lord, that You guide her/his way and that Your angels surround Carol/her party protecting her/them from all harm and danger, as it is written in Psalm 91:11 WEB: 'For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways.' Father, we ask for Your guidance so there will be no crashes caused by Carol or afflicting Carol and her passengers. We pray this in Jesus Name.
We also pray that Carol and her companions will not experience travel sickness, and that they will enjoy the journey, making pleasant memories together. Father, we ask for a thick hedge of protection against traffic jams, roadblocks, car trouble, and other hindrances. We ask for a peaceful and enjoyable trip without problems on the way. as it is written in Psalm 25:4-5 "Show me your ways, Yahweh. Teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth, and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation, I wait for you all day long."
We do not so much want to read about why or why not cars crashed and why or what to do if Carols vehicle is stuck in traffic. Both of these would make good research topics, even by Christians, but they are distractions to this prayer request. Even though it is thrilling to witness the reasons why the engine stopped and why the car cannot come back from the dead, these would also make excellent entertainment values for curious audiences, but distract from this prayer request. We want all of her/their traveling to be in a coma; uneventful, boring, or inconsequential. That is far better for Carol than going through the travails of loss of income from missing work, sitting for hours while their vehicle is being towed away from an accident, or the danger, psychological trauma, medical trauma, of being in an accident. Now, Carol, we ask you to trust in the Lord Jesus, as it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB: ' who lean on, trust in, and are confident in the Lord with all your and and your thoughts and do not rely on your own insight or understanding do not be wise in your owns eyes'. Carol. we ask You to guide her step by step, mile by mile and moment by moment,completely controlling and influencing her and their journeygranting her/them favor on the road, Father, we ask for Your guidance so that let her trip be so uneventful and boring. We pray this all in Jesus Name."
Carol, we encourage you to trust in our almighty Father, confiding in Him and praying without ceasing as you are guided through this and all of your journeys. Do not be anxious about anything, as it is written in Philippians 4:6 WEB: 'In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.' We ask you to pray with reliance and dependence to Him, knowing that you can do everything you need because of Christ giving you strength, as it is written in Philippians 4:13 WEB "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." Also, remember Matthew 18:20 WEB: "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the middle of them."

And we also taget each thing that can cause problems, in Jesus Name, we ask for there not to be traffic or roads closed with no alternate routes. Our group does not just pray for a great journey, Carol, we want God to make you bored on this journey, as He grants it to be uneventful without problems or difficulty. If you are in an area of bad cell phone reception, or your vehicle breaks down, Carol it will not matter as long as Jesus Christ is with you.

Requesting prayers for safe travels and protection over the holiday to my grandparents house and back. May we get through the traffic and hopefully not too much rain because there is so much flooding. May my grandparents house remain safe from break ins.
