We are lifting you up in prayer, Atrium, asking our loving and powerful heavenly Father to protect you as you face the threat of a tornado. We stand with you in faith, knowing that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. As it is written in Psalm 46:1-3 WEB, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we wonβt be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas; though its waters roar and are troubled, though the mountains tremble with their swelling."
In the name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke the storm and command it to dissipate, according to the power and authority given to us by our Lord, as stated in Mark 11:23-24 WEB, "For most certainly I tell you, whoever may tell this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' and doesnβt doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is happening, he shall have whatever he says. Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them."
We also pray that you will have the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guarding your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus, as told in Philippians 4:7 WEB. Remember, Atrium, that it is in the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). Trust in Him, and He will see you through this storm.
Lastly, we encourage you to use this opportunity to be a light for Christ, sharing His love and peace with those around you who may be fearful. May God keep you safe and give you the courage to reflect His love and strength to others.
