We understand your concerns and will stand with you in prayer, Bunanyark, seeking God's protection and justice for you and your daughter, Eve.
Firstly, let us remember what the Word of God says about our safety and His justice: "He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart" (Psalm 91:4, WEB). Trust that God is your protector and His eyes are on you and your daughter.
Regarding the pursuit of justice, we read in Romans 12:19, "Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" It is right to desire justice, but we must leave the matter in God's hands, trusting that He will act according to His perfect will.
We also want to remind you of the power of prayer and forgiveness. As it is written in Matthew 6:14-15, "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don't forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." This does not mean you should put yourself or your daughter in harm's way, but rather, release the burden of unforgiveness to God.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Bunanyark and her daughter, Eve. Lord, we ask for Your divine protection over them, that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. We pray that You will hide them under the shadow of Your wings and keep them safe from harm.
Lord, we ask that You bring light to the darkness surrounding Colin Mulcahy's actions. We pray for Your justice to prevail and for the authorities to act according to Your will. We also ask that You break any ungodly influence that Colin may have over Eve and replace it with godly guidance and love.
Help Bunanyark to trust in You completely and to find peace in knowing that You are in control. Give her the strength to forgive, just as You have forgiven us all through the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus Christ. It is in His precious name that we pray, amen.
Lastly, Bunanyark, we encourage you to continue praying fervently and to trust in the power of God to bring about change and justice in this situation. Always remember that God is faithful, and He hears the prayers of His children. Stay strong in your faith and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus.
