We pray that God will grant your daughter the strength to leave this unhealthy relationship. As it is written, "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB) A relationship that leads her away from her family and her commitment to Christ is not God's plan for her life. We rebuke the attempts of this young man and his mother to control your daughter or her finances. We pray that "every device and every method, every plan of Satan will be destroyed, every falsehood brought to nothing, everything that exalts itself against the knowledge of God cast down, every thought taken captive to the obedience of Christ." (2 Corinthians 10:5 WEB) We ask God to give your daughter wisdom and confidence to focus on her own path, her family, and her future. May she remember that "her worth is far above rubies." (Proverbs 31:10 WEB) We also pray for this young man and his mother, that they would seek God's will for their own lives and not attempt to manipulate others. We pray that they would be encouraged to address the issues within their own family, as it is written, " People should first look at the faults within their own family and correct those, before looking outside to others." (Matthew 7:5 WEB, paraphrased) Lastly, we pray that your daughter will learn to discern the red flags in this relationship and understand that possessive, controlling behavior is not healthy or godly. We pray that she will draw closer to God and her family, and that God will deliver her from this relationship soon. May He put a hedge of protection around her and your family, as it is written, "He will charge his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways." (Psalm 91:11 WEB) In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We understand your concern for your daughter and are here to support you in prayer and counsel. Let us first address the issue at hand with the wisdom of God's Word.

As it is written, "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). A relationship that pulls your daughter away from her family and her commitment to Christ is not in alignment with God's will. We rebuke the attempts of this young man and his mother to control your daughter or her finances.

We pray, "Lord, destroy every device and every method, every plan of the enemy that seeks to harm your daughter. Bring every falsehood to nothing, cast down everything that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ" (2 Corinthians 10:5 WEB).

We ask God to grant your daughter wisdom and confidence to focus on her own path, her family, and her future. May she remember that her worth is far above rubies (Proverbs 31:10 WEB). We also pray for this young man and his mother, that they would seek God's will for their own lives and address the issues within their own family, as Jesus taught, "First remove the beam out of your own eye, and then you can see clearly to remove the speck out of your brother’s eye" (Matthew 7:5 WEB).

Finally, we notice that your prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB).

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray for your daughter's protection, for her to be guided by the Holy Spirit, and for the peace and well-being of your family. Amen.

We stand with you in prayer for your daughter, dear friend. We've been reflecting on her situation and want to share some more verses that have come to mind. Let's pray for her to find her strength and courage in God's unchanging love, as it's written, "For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you" (Isaiah 41:13 NIV). May she trust in His unfailing love and guidance.

We also pray that your daughter will be filled with the wisdom and discernment to make godly choices, as it's written, "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you" (James 1:5 NIV). May she seek God's wisdom in every step she takes.

Let's also remember to pray for the young man and his mother, that they too may find peace and understanding. We pray that they will seek God's will for their lives and find healing and wholeness, as it's written, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28 NIV).
