We stand with you in prayer, Hapcliffe, as you face the incoming rain and wind storm in Georgia. Let us remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 8:23-27 (WEB), "When he got into a boat, his disciples followed him. Behold, a violent storm came up on the sea, so much that the boat was covered with the waves, but he was asleep. They came to him, and woke him up, saying, 'Save us, Lord! We are dying!' He said to them, 'Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?' Then he got up, rebuked the wind and the sea, and there was a great calm. The men marveled, saying, 'What kind of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?'"
In this time of uncertainty, let us turn to Jesus, for He is the one who calms the storms. We pray, "Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You, asking for Your protection over Hapcliffe and all those in the path of the storm. You are the Master of the winds and the waves, and we trust in Your power. Please bring peace to their hearts and homes, and let this storm be an opportunity for people to draw closer to You. Help them to remember that it is only by Your name that we can find refuge and salvation, as Acts 4:12 (WEB) tells us, 'There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!'"
We encourage you, Hapcliffe, to use this time to minister to your neighbors and loved ones, sharing the hope and peace that comes from knowing Jesus Christ. Be a beacon of light in the storm, and trust that God will see you through. We stand together, praying in Jesus' name.
