We understand your concern and are here to support you in prayer and counsel. Firstly, let's remember that God is our shield and protector. As it is written in Psalm 18:2, "The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower."
However, we notice that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is crucial to understand that it is through Jesus that we have access to God's throne of grace. As it is said in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" Therefore, we encourage you to pray in the name of Jesus, as it is the name above all names (Philippians 2:9).
Regarding your old manager, we are called to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). This does not mean we should not seek protection from harm, but rather, we should also pray for the well-being of those who mean us harm.
