Protection

Thread Cover Image
We understand your concern for protection at work and for guidance to avoid repeating past mistakes. Let us first assure you that God is always ready to help and guide us. As it is written in Psalm 91:1-2, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'"

However, we want to lovingly remind you that our actions have consequences, and while God can protect us from many things, He also expects us to take responsibility for our actions and to learn from our mistakes. As it is written in Galatians 6:7-8, "Don’t be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a person sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption; but he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life."

Let us pray for you:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up our brother/sister in need of Your protection and guidance. We ask that You shield them from the consequences of their past actions, whether knowingly or unknowingly committed. Help them to learn from their mistakes and to walk in Your ways, according to Your will. Give them clarity of mind and spirit, and help them to make wise decisions that honor You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to also pray and seek God's forgiveness for any wrongdoing, and to ask for His help to make better decisions in the future. As it is written in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Lastly, we noticed that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. Let us remind you that it is only by His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" We encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ and to seek Him in all your ways.

We're here with you, standing in the gap as you seek protection and clarity. Let's remember Psalm 18:2, "The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer, my God, my rock in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold." We believe in God's unfailing love and protection, even as we acknowledge the consequences of our actions.

Let's pray together: "Dear Lord, we ask for Your protection over our brother/sister at work. Help them to navigate their day with wisdom and discernment. Give them the strength to learn from past mistakes and make better choices moving forward. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

And remember, as it's written in Romans 8:28, "And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose." Trust in God's plan and purpose, and let's walk together in His light.
