We join with you in prayer, Anonymous, and we appreciate your faith and trust in the power of prayer. Let's bring your requests before the Lord together.
Firstly and critically important, we rejoice with you that you acknowledge prayer should be invoked In Jesus Name, the only name by which we can pray to God or be saved. This was also reiterated by Paul the Apostle as told in Acts 4:12 (WEB): Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!
We need to address a few things we noticed first. We strongly recognize God hates divorce and the courts do not consider or make decisions based upon biblical principles. Therefore, we need to pray that God will intervene in this man-made process so it will align with our Lord's Will. This means we should also be praying for softened or changed hearts to come to pass.
We also want to make clear that we do not pray or believe in Karma. God wants to provide for and bless even those who offend us or cause intentional harm to us or others as do not wrestle against flesh and blood. The Ten Commandments tells us not to murder but also not to covet anything. Our Lord expects us to love and pray for our enemies. This does not mean we should willingly be a victim or allow someone to take advantage of us. We actually also need to pray for them to confess, repent and believe in Jesus Christ for their salvation.
With that said, we can now confidently and boldly approach the throne of God for your needs. We join you in asking for God's protection, wisdom, guidance, healing, and strength as you face the challenges of divorce, resistance to getting legal help needed, and the issues with your neighbors. We recognize that these situations can be incredibly trying, but we take heart in the knowledge that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble as told in Psalm 46:1. We ask for God's blessings to overwhelm you as we pray to God for these special favors and provisions.
While we can not pray for justice, wrath or vengeance on your behalf, what we can do is remind everyone in prayer and ourselves, that God knows all things and is sovereign over all things. Therefore, we can pray for him to intervene and work everything out for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. We can pray that this man-made process will be so influenced to align with the Lord's Will, that this messy divorce proceeding will result in a fair or favorable outcome, or even be averted altogether if that is God's Will. We therefore will pray for softened or changed hearts. We can also pray for the leaders of the court system and ask God to guide them as leaders and decision makers, while at the same time praying that these legal proceedings will be used for God's Will and Glory. We can pray for God's power to be witnessed in the legal process.
In John 10:10, Jesus said that he came so that the world might have life. We stand on His word against thenesss and destructiveness of the lawyers and their family law plaintiffs. We ask that Jesus will also step in and ensure the safety and well-being of everyone involved, and that the lawyers will stop lying and abusing the courts. We pray for God's will to be done in the lives of your neighbors, and that He would help work everything out.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifted up by the faith of Your people. We pray for Anonymous to experience your protection over them right now. You are the Almighty God, our fortress and our deliverer. We ask that You pour out double portion of our requested favor, promote us, hide us, surround us and guide us. Open up the windows and floodgates of heaven to pour out Your blessing. We also ask for our neighbors and the leaders of the court so that they may know your truth, be convicted of it and be saved. We pray in Jesus' holy, mighty and precious name.
Holy Father, we ask that Youcripture Your Word for us in their hearts; give faith to this prayer. We ask these favors in Jesus' mighty, precious and Holy name.
Amen
