We stand with you in prayer, Prosagogakos, as you seek God's protection over your marriage. It is beautiful to see your desire to put on the armor of God and fight together as a team against the enemy. In Ephesians 6:10-18, the Apostle Paul writes:
Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace; above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; with all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine protection over Prosagogakos and his wife. Surround them with Your favor as a shield, and give them the strength to put on the full armor of God each day. Help them to stand firm together in faith, wielding the sword of the Spirit and holding up the shield of faith to extinguish the flaming arrows of the evil one.
Father, we pray for unity and love to reign in their marriage, as described in Ecclesiastes 4:12: "Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken." Let their marriage be a cord of three strands, with You, Lord, being that third strand, binding them together in love and harmony.
In Jesus Christ's almighty name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to stand firm in faith, Prosagogakos, and trust in the Lord to protect and guide your marriage. Keep praying together with your wife, and never underestimate the power of prayer and the word of God in strengthening your union. Remember that it is only in the name of Jesus that we can come to the Father.
