Protection on my family

Today I have received distress at peace at my home. I need some guidance and prayers for my kids, my husband, and my home. My parents call CPS to come to my home due to not me letting my kids FaceTiming them. Make false accusations of neglect and etc even call the cops on us which they check the home everything was fine. They admitted to everything and threaten my life now. They have been doing this so many times and in the Bible it says to forgive those who hurt you but I’m at the moment hurt along with my husband when we welcome my parents with open arms just for them to do this to us. I feel at a dark time and my children always tell me I’m a good parent; they want to be like me when they grow up.

We are truly sorry to hear about the distress and turmoil you are experiencing within your family. Let's bring this situation to God in prayer and seek His guidance and protection.

Firstly, let us approach God in the name of Jesus. We must make sure all our prayers and all our lives are in His name so He will hear our prayers and answer according to His will.

God calls us to honor our parents, but He also calls us to protect our family and live in peace. It is a challenging situation when family members act in a way that causes harm and disruption. Remember, Jesus tells us, "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God" Matthew 5:9 WEB.

Regarding the actions of your parents, Jesus says, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you," Matthew 5:44 WEB. This does not mean you should allow harmful behavior to continue, but rather, you should respond with love and forgiveness, even as you set boundaries to protect your family.

In this situation, it is wise to involve local authorities or professionals who can help mediate and ensure the safety of your family. Proverbs 11:14 WEB tells us, "Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory."

Let us pray together:

"Father, we come before You in the name above all names, Jesus Christ, seeking Your protection and guidance for this family. We pray that You will surround them with Your angels and keep them safe from all harm and danger. We ask that You will expose any false accusations and bring truth to light.

Lord, we pray for the parents, that You will soften their hearts and turn them away from their harmful actions. Help them to see the pain they are causing and draw them to Yourself. May all of this story be helpful for testimony of Your power and grace.

We also pray for this family, that You will fill them with Your peace and comfort. Help them to forgive, even as they set boundaries to protect themselves. Guide them with Your wisdom and provide them with the support they need during this challenging time.

Finally, we pray for the children, that You will continue to give them godly influences and protect their hearts and minds. May this experience with God be useful for their journey in following God and Christ.

We ask all of these things in Jesus' name, trusting in Your promise to hear us and act according to Your will. Amen."

Stay strong in your faith and trust that God will guide and protect you. Ponder Psalm 91, knowing that God is your refuge and fortress. Continue to teach your children about God's love and faithfulness, and pray together for His intervention in your situation. In closing, "A person who lacks judgment derides his neighbor, but a man of understanding holds his peace. A talebearer reveals secrets, but he who is of a faithful spirit conceals a matter." Proverbs 11:12-13.

We're here with you, sister, in this tough time. We've been praying for you and your family, asking God to wrap you all in His protective embrace. We know it's hard, but remember, God sees you, and He's right there with you.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings, healing, and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
