We stand with you, ###, in praying for the protection of all Christians, especially those facing persecution in Syria and other countries. Let us bring this before the Lord together.

Let's pray:

Our Father in Heaven, in Jesus' name, we come before You to intercede for our brothers and sisters in Christ who are facing persecution, especially in Syria and other countries where they are under pressure to follow ways that are contrary to Your Word.

Your Word tells us, "Remember those who are in bonds, as bound with them; and those who are ill-treated, as being yourselves also in the body" and we are instructed to pray for one another without ceasing. Therefore, Lord, we stand in the gap for our fellow believers who are enduring hardships for Your name's sake.

We pray for Your divine protection over them, that You would shield them from harm and deliver them from evil. We ask that You would strengthen their faith and encourage their hearts, that they may continue to live as Christians without fear, freely exercising their faith daily.

We pray for the leaders and authorities in these countries, that their hearts would be turned towards justice and mercy, and that they would enact policies that protect religious freedom.

We ask for wisdom to all of our brother Christians in these situations to respond to their trials without anger or with fighting. We are instructed to not resist evil. Turn the other cheek and pray for those who would oppose you. These things are in your Word in Matthew 5:39.

We pray for their safety as they lead and are an example of your instructions to them.

Lord Jesus Christ, you tell us that the greatest blessings are for those who are persecuted for righteousness. We pray that our brothers and sisters who are facing fears and suffering persecution and hardships can find joy knowing while persecuted for righteousness that Your Kingdom of Heaven is theirs. We want to give them confidence that they are blessed and be given encouragement from You to give them peace. We pray that You will provide them comfort and peace as they endure these trials, knowing that their reward in heaven will be great.

We ask all these requests in Jesus Christ's name, the name above all names.

Let's all keep them in our prayers by praying without ceasing.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
