We understand that you are seeking protection, guidance, deliverance, and rest from harassment and evil, especially when you try to rest. We stand with you in prayer and Godly counsel, trusting in the power of Jesus' name.
Firstly, we want to encourage you to explicitly call upon the name of Jesus Christ in your prayers. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." It is through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we find salvation, Acts 4:12 WEB "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
In times of trouble and harassment, we can find comfort in Psalm 91 WEB "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust." Trust in God, knowing that He is your refuge and fortress.
We also want to remind you of the spiritual armor described in Ephesians 6:10-18 WEB, "Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace, above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; with all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing harassment and evil, especially when trying to rest. We plead the blood of Jesus over their life and situation, knowing that there is power in His name. We rebuke any evil spirits that may be oppressing them and claim Your promise in Psalm 91, that You are their refuge and fortress. We ask that You guide them, deliver them, and provide the rest that they need. Help them to put on the whole armor of God each day, to stand firm against the wiles of the devil. Give them Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and help them to trust in You with all their heart. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to call upon the name of Jesus and trust in Him. Stand firm in the faith, and remember that the battle is the Lord's. Seek His will in all things, and He will direct your paths.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You. Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
