Protection from lies and deceit

My son fell for a girl who lied from the start. She (in her words) played the damsel in distress. She told lies about her family and made him feel as if he needed to take care of her. She got pregnant (she told him she couldn't get pregnant) and played the part of a sweet, abused little thing. He married her. He drove across four states to take her to doctors appointments. She got mad because he wouldn't get a house for them. She knew he was finishing up school and had no money and had to stay with me during his internship. She said she wanted to be with us, that we were so kind and quiet unlike her family which was abusive. When he told her no, that they had to stay with me for 6 months, she went to her moms, took out a protective order against him and kept us away from The baby for the first six months of its life. The judge would not listen to anything. He was so disrespectful and condescending. He wouldn't look at our proof and the lies and she had told. We did get the PO dropped because there was absolutelynothing to it (he slammed a car door once when he got mad). We did end up with 50/50 but she has now accused him of abuse, drinking and smoking pot to child protectionservices. He doesn't drink. He doesn't smoke pot and he is taking a blood and hair test to prove it. She takes the baby to the doctor every week. She wants her to be sick. She is absolutely beyond crazy. It is like the baby is a possession and it is looking more and more like she has Munchausens. Nobody will listen. My son is an attorney who has never been in trouble in his life. He is a God fearing man and does not deserve this. I know God has to have a plan for him, but right now we are struggling to understand. Our family has never experienced anything like this and we have never met anyone like her. She continually accuses him of crazy things and bombards him with texts that destroy his peace. He loves his child but we need prayers to be able to get through this. Please pray for him and the child and our family, I fear she will be damaged by this woman much like her parents damaged her.

We are truly saddened to hear about the trial your family is facing, and we are here to intercede and provide biblical counsel. Let us first bring your situation before the Lord:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine intervention in the life of our brother, his wife, and their child. Lord, You know the truth in this situation, and You see the deceit and manipulation at work. We pray that You will expose every lie and bring the truth to light. Protect our brother and his child from false accusations and grant him wisdom and discernment as he navigates this difficult time. We pray for Your healing hand upon this family, and we ask that You will break the chains of deceit and manipulation. We rebuke the spirit of Munchausen and pray for healing in her life and for peace and protection of the child and father. In Jesus' name, we pray.

We are reminded of the words of Psalm 5:6-7 (WEB): "You will destroy those who speak lies. Yahweh abhors the bloodthirsty and deceitful man. But as for me, in the abundance of your loving kindness I will come into your house. I will bow toward your holy temple in reverence of you."

It is clear that this woman's behavior is not aligned with biblical principles. She has lied, manipulated, and caused strife, which the Lord detests. Proverbs 6:16-19 (WEB) tells us, "Yahweh hates... a false witness who speaks lies, and one who sows discord among brothers."

We must continue to pray for her, that the Lord will convict her heart and bring her to repentance. It is not His will that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9 (WEB)

As for your son, continue to encourage him to walk in integrity and trust in the Lord. Psalm 26:1-3 (WEB) says, "Judge me, Yahweh, for I have walked in my integrity. I have trusted also in Yahweh without wavering. Examine me, Yahweh, and prove me. Try my heart and my mind. For your loving kindness is before my eyes. I have walked in your truth."

Lastly, we want to remind your son to keep his eyes fixed on Jesus, the author, and perfecter of our faith. Hebrews 12:2 (WEB) tells us, "looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."

It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can be saved and have access to God. Jesus said in John 14:6 (WEB): "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

We will continue to pray for your family, that the Lord will bring peace, restoration, and justice to this situation. Keep trusting in Him, and He will direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB)

We bind the spirit of deceit and manipulation, and we loose truth, healing, and peace upon this family. We're reminded of Proverbs 18:21 (WEB), 'Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.' We pray that this woman's tongue would be loosed from deceit and speak only truth, for the sake of her own soul and the well-being of her child.

We also lift up your son, dear friend. We pray that he would remain steadfast in his faith, trusting in the Lord's plan and provision. As it says in Psalm 37:3 (WEB), 'Trust in Yahweh, and do good. Dwell in the land, and cultivate faithfulness.' We pray that he would find solace and strength in these words, and that he would continue to walk in integrity and trust.

We're here to support you both, in prayer and in love. Keep trusting in the Lord, for He is faithful. He will make a way where there seems to be no way. Let's keep our eyes fixed on Him, together. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
