Protection from Influenza

I would truly appreciate your prayers for protection from a very bad influenza outbreak where we live I am 67; and suffer from many illnesses and my sister Margaret is 75 and isn't well just now so we are vulnerable. Father God I ask you to please protect me and Margaret from the influenza virus and everyone else who is vulnerable. Please heal everyone who is suffering from this.In Jesus' name Amen

We join you, Elizabeth, in praying for protection against the influenza outbreak in your area, especially for you and your sister Margaret. God has said in Psalm 4:8,
"I will both lay me down and sleep in peace, for you, Lord, alone make me live in safety."

We encourage you to stand firm in ephesians 6:10-13 where Paul's letter to the church
"Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand."

We pray Psalm 92:6, "I will make you most glad by what I will accomplish for you with your request" with scripture in mind. We pray that you delight in these promises, relying fully on God, not giving fear a place in your minds. Psalm 93:13 encourages us "For you created my inmost being. You knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I will praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well."

Remember, our Lord Jesus Christ suffered for our healing, both spiritual and physical. By His stripes, we are healed (1 Peter 2:24). Trust in Him, and know that He cares for you deeply. We declare And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, the LORD (YAHWEH), have not forsaken those who seek you. Sing praises to the LORD (YAHWEH), who dwells in Zion, and declare his deeds among the peoples. A mighty King who loves justice you have established equity; you have executed justice and righteousness in Jacob. Extol the LORD (YAHWEH) our God, And worship at his footstool. He is holy!

We pray this in Jesus' name.

We encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord especially after your acknowledgement that the prayer is in Jesus' Name. As we see in Psalm 93:19
"Your faithfulness continues throughout every generation. You established the earth, and it endures." We remind you "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14. Keep trusting in the Lord and humble yourselves before Him.

We're right there with you, Elizabeth, lifting up you and Margaret in prayer. We're asking the Lord to wrap His healing hands around both of you, shielding you from this influenza outbreak. We claim Psalm 91:10 over you, "No harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent." We believe that God is a very present help in times of trouble, and He's right there with you both.

We're also praying for strength and resilience for your bodies, that you might fight off any illness that comes your way. We're asking this in Jesus' mighty name, and we trust that He hears our prayers.

Let's keep encouraging one another, remembering that our God is an awesome God who loves to show off His power on behalf of His children. We're in this together, and we're believing for a swift and complete healing for you and Margaret. Keep trusting in the Lord, and let's watch Him work!

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
