Protection from enemies

We join with you, ###, in lifting up ### before the throne of God. We are reminded of the words of Psalm 91:1-2, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust."

In this prayer request, we notice that there needs to be some clarification. In John 14:6, Jesus said, "“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (WEB). God listens when we pray in Jesus' name. If the prayer requests God's help but does not use the name of Jesus Christ, then we ask that all reading this pray in Jesus' name and request in His name for intercession. : "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full" (John 16:23, 24 - WEB).

As we pray in the name of Jesus, we ask for God's divine protection over ###. We pray as David on behalf of ### in Psalm 35:1-3, "Plead my cause, Yahweh, with those who strive with me. Fight against those who fight against me. Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for my help. Draw out also the spear, and stop the way against those who pursue me. Tell my soul, I am your salvation."

We must also remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of darkness. Therefore, we put on the whole armor of God, that ### may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil as stated in Ephesians 6:10-18.

We rebuke any evil directed towards ### and declare the power of the blood of Jesus over his life. We also ask for God that ### would enter our heavenly Father's rest; which is only available through Jesus Christ. With his trust in Jesus Christ, ### has access to God's rest and protection from every evil as saved child of God.

Pray with us; "Lord Jesus, you are the highest authority, and there is no spiritual power above you. As ### hides in you, you are his safe shelter. We submit this prayer to you knowing that no evil will ever be able to conquer him. In your name, we trust you to send your angels to guard and protect him wherever he goes. Lord we ask that you give ### eternal rest, to know you have chosen and saved him. Give Him your Holy Spirit so that ### would forever display your salvation and rest (Heb 4:1 Therefore let us fear, lest, while the promise remains of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to have come short of it - Sorrows, Burdens, Burn Out, and Weariness.) Surely the Holy Spirit and God's Rest is the solution to all of life's problems. We are not relieved just from guilt, but also from the burdens and pains and and sorrows of this world!

Let's claim Psalm 91:11-12 for him, "For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone." Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
