We are truly heartsick to hear about the abuse your son is facing, and we stand with you in prayer for his protection and deliverance. We condemn such wicked behavior and we know that God sees and will not ignore it. Let us come before the Lord with hearts humbled and confident that He hears our prayers.
The Bible tells us that God is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble (Psalm 9:9). In Matthew 18:5-6 WEB, Jesus says, "Whoever receives one such little child in my name receives me, but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him that a huge millstone should be hung around his neck, and that he should be sunk in the depths of the sea." We can rest assured that God takes the abuse of children very seriously.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this precious son to You. Father, You know the circumstances, and You see the abuse he is facing. We ask, Lord, that You intervene and put an end to this wickedness. Protect him from both physical and mental abuse, and bring conviction and repentance to those who are causing him harm.
Lord, we pray for Your healing and comfort over this child. Send Your Holy Spirit to minister to him, and surround him with Your angels to protect him. Guide him through this dark time, and bring him out stronger and more reliant on You.
We also pray for the caregivers, Lord, and this is difficult and controversial. They need conviction for their actions. Lord, we pray that if they are Believers, then convict them and turn them from this wickedness. If they are not Believers, we pray that they are not allowed to continue in their wickedness and are removed from their position of caring for the innocent. Lord, we pray that you cause justice to be done. They must repent and turn from their wickedness. If they will not repent, then we pray that they are judged according to their deeds.
Father, guide the family and provide them with wisdom and discernment as they navigate this situation. Give them strength and courage, and help them to trust in You completely.
Lord, the enemy is always at work, but we believe that your word says "no weapon forged against you will prevail (Isaiah 54:17). In Jesus' name.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke the spirit of abuse and violence, and we command it to cease in Jesus' name. We declare protection, peace, and healing over this child and his family.
We ask all these things in the precious name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying and trusting in the Lord.
