We are truly heartbroken to hear about the situation your son is facing, and we stand with you in prayer for his protection and deliverance. We commend you for turning to Jesus in this time of need, for His name is powerful and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
Firstly, we want to remind you of God's promise in Psalm 34:17-18, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." God hears your cries and is near to your son in this difficult time.
We also want to encourage you to be strong and courageous in this battle. In Ephesians 6:10-12, Paul tells us to "be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." This is a spiritual battle, and God has equipped you with His armor to stand against the evil your son is facing.
Regarding the abuse, we must strongly rebuke such wicked behavior. Those who harm children are committing a grievous sin, and God takes the abuse of children very seriously. In Matthew 18:6, Jesus says, "But whoever shall cause one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him if a huge millstone were hung around his neck, and that he were sunk in the depths of the sea." We pray that the abusers will be brought to justice and repent of their sins.
Let us pray together for your son:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this precious son to You. Lord, You know the pain and suffering he is going through, and we ask that You would surround him with Your healing presence and protective love. Put an end to the abuse, Lord, and bring those responsible to justice. Give this dear mother the strength and wisdom to fight for her son, and guide her through this dark time. Bring healing and restoration to their lives, and let Your light shine in the darkness. We ask all this in Jesus' name. Amen.
Please continue to cry out to God for your son, and do not give up hope. God is faithful, and He will answer your prayers. Also, consider seeking help from local authorities and Christian organizations that specialize in protecting children from abuse.
