We are grieved to hear that your son is facing abuse, and we join you in praying for his protection and safety. We stand against such wickedness and we know that God sees and cares for your son's suffering. Let us come to the Lord in Jesus' name. The Bible encourages us to cast all our worries on Him because He cares for us, and promises that He will never leave nor forsake us.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, seeking Your protection and intervention for this dear son. You are a father to the fatherless, a defender of the weak, and a refuge for the oppressed. We ask that You stretch out Your mighty hand to deliver him from those who seek to harm him, both physically and mentally.
We pray that You would expose the abusers and bring them to justice, unless they repent and turn to You and are washed clean by the blood of Jesus. We ask that You would surround this son with Your favor and with people who will love and care for him as You would.
We also pray for healing and restoration for this son, that he would know Your unfailing love and be strengthened by Your Spirit. We ask that you would direct the authorities and all those that can protect him. We also ask that you will reveal to him Your good plan and purpose for his life. Please guide him to believe in Jesus Christ if he does not already.
We stand in faith, trusting in Your promise that You will never leave nor forsake us. We declare that no weapon forged against him will prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment will be condemned.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to be strong and courageous, and to trust in the Lord with all your heart. He is faithful, and He will not let you down.
Remember Isaiah 43:2-3 "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, and the flame will not consume you. For I am Yahweh your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior."
Please keep us updated on your son's situation, so we can continue to pray and support you.
Consider 1 Peter 5:10-11 "But may the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. To him be the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen."
