We are truly saddened to hear about the situation your son is facing, and we are here to stand with you in prayer and support. We know that God is a loving and protective Father, and He cares deeply for your son's well-being.
Firstly, we want to assure you that you've done the right thing by asking for prayer in the name of Jesus. As it is written in John 14:13-14 WEB:
"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
And in John 16:23-24 WEB:
"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full."
We should always remember that our all sufficient provider is the Lord Jesus Christ.
In situations like this, we must remember that God sees, knows, and cares. Psalm 34:15-17 WEB says,
"Yahweh's eyes are toward the righteous. His ears listen to their cry. Yahweh's face is against those who do evil, to cut off their memory from the earth. The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles."
We pray that God will be a shield and protector for your son. Psalm 3:3 WEB declares,
"But you, Yahweh, are a shield around me, my glory, and the one who lifts up my head."
If there is any form of abuse occurring, it is crucial to involve local authorities or services dedicated to protecting vulnerable individuals. Romans 13:1-4 WEB reminds us,
"Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God. Therefore he who resists the authority withstands the ordinance of God; and those who withstand will receive to themselves judgment. For rulers are not a terror to the good work, but to the evil. Do you desire to have no fear of the authority? Do that which is good, and you will have praise from the same,"
We pray that God will give you the wisdom and courage to take the necessary steps to ensure your son's safety.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this dear son to You. Lord, You are our protector and defender, and we ask that You shield this child from any form of abuse or harm. Guide the authorities and caregivers involved, that they may ensure his safety and well-being. Grant the mother wisdom, courage, and discernment as she advocates for her son.
And all the Glory to God through the Lord Jesus Christ.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Please keep us updated on the situation so that we can continue to pray and support you both.
