We are truly saddened to hear about the situation your son is facing, and we are here to stand with you in prayer and support. We rebuke the evil of abuse, and we trust that God will intervene and protect your son.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is only by His name that we have access to God the Father and can be saved, For there is no other name to which we must be saved. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB).
In times like these, we remember God's promise to be a father to the fatherless and a defender of the weak. God sets the lonely in families, he leads out the prisoners with singing; but the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land (Psalm 68:5-6 WEB).
We encourage you to be persistent in prayer, trusting that God hears your cries and will act on behalf of your son. Be unceasing in prayer [praying perseveringly] (1 Thessalonians 5:17 WEB).
Please join us in this prayer:
Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear son who is facing abuse. Lord, You are the defender of the weak and the protector of the vulnerable. We ask that You stretch out Your hand and rescue this child from those who seek to harm him. Surround him with Your angels and put an end to the abuse. Give him Your peace and comfort, and let him know that he is loved and valued by You.
Lord, we also pray for those who are causing harm. Change their hearts, Lord, and bring them to repentance. Help them to see the error of their ways and to seek Your forgiveness.
Guide the authorities and those in positions of power to act justly and to protect this child. Give wisdom and discernment to those who are investigating, and help them to uncover the truth and bring justice.
Lastly, Lord, we pray for this dear parent. Strengthen them and give them the courage to advocate for their son. Fill them with Your peace and comfort, and let them know that You are with them and will never leave them nor forsake them.
We ask for spiritual solutions for physical problems.
In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB).
