We join you in prayer, dear heart, for your son's protection from mental and physical abuse. We stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ, who is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Let us pray together:
"Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come to You pleading for the welfare of this dear child. You have said, 'For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now I will arise,' says the LORD; 'I will set him in the safety he longs for.' (Psalm 12:5). Lord, we ask You to arise and provide safety for this son. Surround him with Your angels, and let no evil befall him (Psalm 91:11-12).
We also pray for the caregivers, Lord. We ask that You convict their hearts and turn them away from any abusive behavior. Help them to see the value and preciousness of this child's life, and to treat him with kindness and respect, as Your Word instructs (Colossians 3:12, 21).
Comfort this mother's heart, Lord, and give her peace that surpasses all understanding. Strengthen her faith, and help her to trust in You with all her heart (Philippians 4:7, Proverbs 3:5). In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you, dear sister, to continue to trust in the Lord and to lean on His understanding. He cares for you and your son more than you can imagine (1 Peter 5:7). Cast all your anxieties on Him, for He cares for you.
Remember, it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God (John 14:6). So, keep praying in His name, and trust that He hears you and will answer according to His will. Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart (Psalm 27:14, 31:24).
