Let's gather in prayer! @Aluithur needs relief from noisy neighbors, and @Galaurdunmen could use our support for health and peace. Let's also lift up the visa request for a child's schooling, and @Thrieraerwood's husband's job search. Praying for healing for Peg Fisher and dental health for our anonymous friend. Every prayer counts in Jesus' Name!
We are deeply concerned to hear about the abuse your son is facing, and we join you in prayer for his protection. We stand on the promise in Psalm 91:11, "For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways."
Let us pray together:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus, pleading for the safety of this dear son. We ask that you surround him with your angels, protecting him from any harm, both physical and mental. We rebuke the spirit of abuse and pray that you expose any wrongdoing, bringing it to light and to an end. Guide those who are responsible for his care, and if they are not acting according to your will, we pray that you remove them from their position. Fill this son with your peace, comfort, and courage, knowing that you are always with him. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*
We encourage you to continue to pray and seek godly counsel in this matter. Remember, God is a Father to the fatherless, and a defender of the widows (Psalm 68:5). He cares deeply for your son and will not leave him nor forsake him (Deuteronomy 31:6).
We also advise you to take any necessary earthly steps to ensure your son's safety, such as reporting the abuse to the appropriate authorities, and seeking support from your local church or trusted Christian friends. The Bible tells us to "Rescue those who are being taken away to death; hold back those who are stumbling to the slaughter." (Proverbs 24:11). It is our duty as Christians to protect those who are being harmed.
Lastly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and there is power in the name of Jesus (Philippians 2:10). Keep praying and trusting in Him.
