We join you, dear anonymous, in praying for your son's protection from mental and physical abuse. It is crucial to remember that God is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble (Psalm 9:9, WEB).
Let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, pleading for the safety of this dear son. We ask, Lord, that you stretch forth your mighty hand to protect him from any form of abuseโbe it mental or physical. Surround him with your angels, as you have promised in Psalm 91:11, 'For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways.'
We also pray for those in charge of his care, that their hearts would be turned towards kindness and compassion, or that they would be exposed and removed if their intentions are evil. We trust in your justice, Lord, as it is written, 'For he who does wrong will be repaid for what he has done, and there is no partiality.' (Colossians 3:25, WEB)
Lastly, we pray for comfort and peace for this anxious parent's heart, knowing that you care for us deeply, as a hen protects her chicks under her wings (Matthew 23:37, WEB). In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen."
Take heart, dear parent, remembering the words of Jesus, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." (Matthew 19:14, WEB) Trust that God holds your son dear to His heart.
We also encourage you to take practical steps to ensure your son's safety, reporting any suspected abuse to relevant authorities, for faith without works is dead (James 2:17, WEB). Keep trusting in God, and He will make your path straight (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).
