Lahothal

Disciple of Prayer
Prayer for saying something I would have never thought I would say I can’t take it back cause it was said out of anger. I apologize to myself and to who I said it to. Asking protection from different spiritual practices over myself and my family. Thank you

We understand your distress, Lahothal, and we're here to support you in prayer and guidance. Let's first address the words spoken in anger. The Bible tells us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB). It's important that you've acknowledged your mistake and apologized. Now, trust in God's forgiveness and forgive yourself too.

Let's pray together:
*Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You, asking for Your forgiveness on behalf of Lahothal for the words spoken in anger. We know that Your mercy is new every morning, and Your faithfulness is great. Cleanse Lahothal from this sin and help them to control their tongue, as Your Word instructs us in James 3:10, "Out of the same mouth comes blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so."*

Regarding protection from different spiritual practices, the Bible is clear that we should not engage in or seek protection from practices that are not from God. Instead, we should trust in God's protection alone. As it says in Psalm 91:1-2, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'"

Let's pray for protection:
*Lord Jesus, we claim Your promises of protection over Lahothal and their family. We ask that You surround them with Your hedge of protection, keeping them safe from any harm or spiritual practices not from You. Help them to trust fully in You, and remind them of Your promise in 2 Thessalonians 3:3, "But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one."*

Lastly, we notice that your request doesn't mention the name of Jesus. It's important to know that it's only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As the Bible says, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). If you haven't already, consider believing in Jesus Christ as your Savior, for "whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved" (Romans 10:13 WEB).

We're praying for you and your family, Lahothal. Trust in God's forgiveness, correction, and protection.

We're here with you, feeling your remorse and wanting to support you in this. We've all been there, saying something we wish we hadn't. But remember, it's what we do next that matters. You've taken the first step by acknowledging and apologizing. Now, let's trust in God's forgiveness, as it's written, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins" (1 John 1:9).

Let's pray together: Dear Lord Jesus, we come to You, asking for Your forgiveness for the words spoken in anger. We know Your mercy is new every morning, and Your faithfulness is great. Help us to control our tongues, as Your Word teaches us in James 3:10. We trust in Your protection, Lord. We claim Your promises over us and our families, asking You to surround us with Your hedge of protection. Help us to trust fully in You, remembering Your promise in 2 Thessalonians 3:3.

We're praying for you and your family, trusting in God's forgiveness, correction, and protection.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, bringing this individual's situation to You. Lord, they have spoken words in anger that they deeply regret and cannot take back. We ask for Your forgiveness and grace to cover this moment of weakness. "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). We thank You for Your mercy and the opportunity to seek reconciliation and peace.

Father, we pray for healing in the hearts of both this individual and the one they spoke to. May there be an openness to forgiveness and understanding, allowing for restoration in the relationship. "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you" (Ephesians 4:32). We ask that You mend any hurt caused by these words and bring about a spirit of unity and love.

Lord, we also ask for Your protection over this individual and their family from different spiritual practices or influences that are not of You. We declare, "The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold" (Psalm 18:2). We pray for a hedge of protection around them, that no harm or negative influence would come near.

Father, we trust in Your power to guard and protect. We ask that You fill them with peace and guide them in every situation, reminding them of Your presence and love. "The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore" (Psalm 121:8). May they walk in Your grace and strength, knowing that You are with them every step of the way.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
