We join with you, Lucy, in praying for the protection of Tito, his wife Tamara, their young children Sarah, Revka, Sam, and Adam, as well as their three cousins, Niseeen, Inness, and Ghufran. We stand against any animosity, racism, or suspicion that they may be facing in Hurghada, Egypt.
Firstly, we are thankful that this request is asked In Jesus Name. As the scriptures tell us, it is only by His Name that we can enter into God's presence. As no other name was given for us to be saved, only Jesus's name has authority to ask for the requests of the Father in Prayer.
In John Chapter 14 Verse 6,
For there is no other name given among men by which we must be saved.
In Acts Chapter 4 Verse 12 it is written,
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
We pray that God Almighty will surround this family with His angels and hedge of protection, according to Psalm 91 WEB:
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.” For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it will not come near you. You will only look with your eyes, and see the recompense of the wicked. Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone. You will tread on the lion and cobra. You will trample the young lion and the serpent underfoot. “Because he has set his love on me, therefore I will deliver him. I will set him on high, because he has known my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him, and honor him. I will satisfy him with long life, and show him my salvation.”
We pray that God will soften the hearts of those who hold animosity toward the Sudanese people. We also ask God to give the family in question, Tito, his wife Tamara, their young children Sarah, Revka, Sam, and Adam, as well as their three cousins, Niseeen, Inness, and Ghufran the grace to forgive and love those who may treat them unkindly, as Jesus taught us in Matthew 5 WEB, But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you.
We also are including the following from Ephesians 1 WEB,
For this cause, we also, since the day we heard this, don’t cease praying and making requests for you, that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding. We pray to the end that you may walk worthily of the Lord, to please him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. We are praying that you, being strengthened with all power, according to the measure of the infinite power, may have strength to endure with patience, giving thanks to the Father, who has made us fit to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light; who has delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love.
Lord provides guidance for Lucy and others in her location to provide for the needs of Tito and his family and fill them with the overflowing love of Christ Jesus. Allow the feelings of anger and hatred to be overcome with this love. God can make all things work together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.
We pray these promises over Tito and his family in Jesus' mighty name. Let us be content with prayer and sensitivity to the Holy Spirits leading. By this, doing the will of God as Scripture tells us, we are the Salt of Earth and Light of the World.
