We are glad to join with you in prayer for your small business, especially as you've asked in Jesus' name. It's crucial to remember that God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our work and businesses. As we pray, let's also consider the principles of diligence, honesty, and excellence that God calls us to in our work.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this small business to You. We ask for Your protection and blessing over it, that it may flourish and grow in the New Year. We pray for increased sales and blessed customers. Even in the slow seasons, Lord, help us to trust in Your provision and use the time wisely for the betterment of the business and for Your glory.
Guard this business from any harmful comments or unhappy clients, and help the owner to operate with integrity and excellence, that their work may be a testimony of Your goodness. Give them wisdom to manage the business effectively, and favor with their clients.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
In addition to prayer, consider these words from Colossians 3:23-24 WEB: "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."
Remember, our work should ultimately be a service to the Lord. Operate your business with this mindset, and trust that God will bless your efforts as you put Him first. Also, consider using slower seasons as opportunities to plan, prepare, and seek God's will for your business.
Lastly, always remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. It is by His stripes we are saved. Divine providence allows the works of our hands to flourish when they are done for Him. This is why it is important in our requests to God to use the name of Jesus Christ.
Let's be aware that every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. He chose to give us birth through the Word of Truth that we should be a kind of first fruits of His creatures.
