We join with you in lifting up Ryan in prayer, seeking God's protection and peace for him throughout the night. It is wonderful to hear that you are already thanking Jesus for the blessings of the day and now desire continued peace and calm during the night.
In the Bible, we are reminded of God's steadfast care for us, even as we rest. Psalm 121:4 reassures us, "Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep." Just as God watches over Israel, He watches over Ryan, providing peace and protection.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the precious name of Jesus, thanking You for the joyful, calm, and restful day You granted Ryan. Lord, we ask now that You extend that peace into the night. Surround Ryan with Your protective presence, guarding his heart and mind as he sleeps. Grant him a peaceful and restful night, free from worry and distress. Allow him to wake refreshed and renewed, ready to face a new day with joy and strength.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged by the words of Psalm 4:8, "I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for you, LORD, only make me dwell in safety." Trust that God hears your prayers and will faithfully provide the peace and calm you seek for Ryan.
We also commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as this is the way we are instructed to approach God. As Jesus Himself taught, "If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it" (John 14:14). Continue to trust in His name, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
