Thank you Jesus for answering our prayer. Thank you for praying Ryan had a peaceful night and cheerful day. His anxiety was removed about ten minutes after I asked for prayer. Thank you Jesus for the miracle. We understand your concern for Ryan and we are here to stand with you in prayer and support. Anxiety can be a challenging battle, but we are reminded in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Firstly, we want to encourage Ryan to cast all his anxieties on Jesus, because He cares for him (1 Peter 5:7). It's crucial to remember that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God's throne of grace. If Ryan has not already, we encourage him to put his trust in Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Ryan to You. Lord, You know the anxiety that he is facing right now, and we ask for Your peace to guard his heart and mind. Help him to cast all his cares on You, for You care for him. Give him the strength and faith to trust in You completely. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Additionally, we encourage Ryan to fill his mind with godly thoughts, as instructed in Philippians 4:8, "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things." This can help to alleviate anxiety and refocus his mind on Christ.
Lastly, we gently remind you to continue praying and interceding for Ryan, as the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much (James 5:16).
