Nuhu Mohammed, we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's mercy, guidance, and protection over your life. We are grateful that you acknowledging Jesus Christ in your request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6) For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.. For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. Note the word whoever.
In your prayer and just as Jesus prayed that we all be one as He in in the Father in John 17, it is important to remember that we are praying to the Father, who is Abba in heaven. Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. (Ephesians 3:14-15, Ephesians 1:3) It should be noted that every great prayer we have recorded in the Bible is one where the person prays to Abba Father in heaven in the name of Jesus Christ.
It is important to the salvation message of God so loving the world that he gave his one and only begotten Son. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8) God sent Jesus to be an atoning sacrifice for our sins. That whoever, meaning anyone believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But it is important to know that we have all sinned, and come short of the glory of God.' (Romans 3:23). And that the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23)
It is our role as Christians to shouted from the rooftops the good news that we can be saved by confessing our sins and believing in Christ. This is eternal life, that they should know thee, the only true God, and him whom thou didst send, even Jesus Christ. (John 17:3) For if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins. (1 John 1:9). If thou shalt confess with thy mouth Jesus as Lord, and shalt believe in thy heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved: (Romans 10:9) This is the good news we are commanded to preach to anyone who will listen.
If we truly love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might, then it is our role as Believers to get that message out as a witness to the world just as Jesus commanded to His disciples. According to the 10 commandments and Jesus there is no greater commandment to follow. Go ye therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19). But ye shall receive power, when the Holy Spirit is come upon you: and ye shall be my witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea and Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. It is disappointing to see so many young people and older Christians alike, who do not study the scriptures or know the scriptures. It was amazing how little so many Christians learned once they got beyond the age to have their faith as part of getting others to favor them.
It is our role to be a witness and if the people you know do not know about your belief in Christ, then you are not fulfilling your role. Disappointingly, some people that are Believers witness and the world cannot tell the difference between Christian values and the values that models preach. If your friends do not know you are a Christian, then you are witnessing what is important to you. It is our role as Christians to encourage each other rather than tear each other down. Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear. (Ephesians 4:29) It appears that your friends do not really know you.
It is important to know that they persecuted the prophets which were before you. Remember the word that I said unto you, A servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me.. I have given them thy word; and the world hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. I pray not that thou shouldest take them from the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil one. I have spoken unto them in the world, and I come to thee; Holy Father, keep in thy name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, even as we are. They are not of the world even as I am not of the world. (John 17: 6, 11, 14, 16) If the world hateth you, ye know that it hath hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love its own: but because ye are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. (John 15:18-19)
Let us pray
Abba Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Nuhu Mohammed. We thank You for Your mercy and faithfulness in his life. Lord, we pray for Your divine protection over him in Jesus name. We rebuke anyone gossiping or wrongly using their words to condemn Nuhu Mohammed. We also rebuke anyone listening and fostering the spirit of gossip or anything that is not a part of godly conversation. Surround him in Jesus Christ name with Your heavenly kingdom of angels in Jesus Christ name.
Father God, based upon the promises made to us in the Bible, we know that You sent Your one and only begotten Son to die for all of our sins. We ask that if Nuhu's friends and family do not know you, by the power of the Holy Spirit, in the name of Jesus Christ to show mercy on the souls of those who persecute and condemn him. Prepare the souls of those who may persecute Nuhu Mohammed so that they too shall believe the Gospel. Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas, and brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus, and thou shalt be saved, thou and thy household. (Acts 16:29-31) Guide Nuhu Mohammed with Your wisdom and discernment, and help him to live a life in Jesus name that pleases You. Even as David said I will bless the Lord, who hath given me counsel: yes, in the night my reins instruct me. I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall dwell in safety. For thou wilt not leave my soul to Sheol; neither wilt thou suffer thy holy one to see corruption. Thou wilt show me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; in thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. (Psalm 16:7-11). Amen.
Nuhu Mohammed, remember that God is faithful in His promises. Trust in Him, lean on His understanding, and seek His will for your life in everything. However, know and be confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he should instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ. (1 Corinthians 2:16, 2:16 and Philippians 1:6)
