Protection and Devotion

Dear Heavenly Father, Lord Jesus, My children's father, ###, is supposed to be released from jail today. I don't know for sure, but as You know, his mother tried to intervene in my connection with ### by telling her son ### and his sister about my relationship with ### – when it's none of their business. Since me and ### have been over since ###, and now it's ###, ### fears drama with my children's family. I tell him it's nothing to worry about because nothing can be done about it, and it's our business – being together – although he is ###'s mother's neighbor. But I pray for his protection and also for myself from their evil intentions. Help ### be more open, give his worries to God, and know that I truly do love him. I want nothing but the best for our relationship. In Jesus name Amen.

It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we pray.

You also expressed concern about ###'s mother interfering in your relationship. It's important to remember that God is our protector and that He cares for our needs. As it says in 1 Peter 5:7 (WEB), "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."

If you and ### are not married, we encourage you to consider the biblical path of courtship with the goal of marriage. As it is written, "Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body" (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB).

We also want to address the issue of fear and worry. God commands us not to fear, as He is in control. In Isaiah 41:10 (WEB), He says, "Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand." Encourage ### to trust in God and to give his worries to Him.

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up ### and ###. We pray for Your protection over them and their relationship. We ask that You guide them in Your will and that You help them to trust in You. Lord, we pray that You would give ### the courage to open his heart to You and to ###, and that You would help them to pursue a relationship that honors You. We ask that You would intervene in any attempts by ###'s mother to cause strife, and that You would bring peace to this situation. We pray all these things in Jesus' name, Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you to continue praying and seeking God's will for your life and relationship. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
