We understand that you are facing a challenging situation involving your daughter and a custody battle. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble and the God of Justice. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. We will pray for wisdom, discernment, and God's protection over you and your daughter. We will also pray for the authorities and court to have mercy and be just.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this mother and daughter in their time of need. Lord, You are the God of Justice in the gate and mercy. You are the Father to the fatherless, and You protect them and all who are vulnerable. You place the lonely in families and are their fortress and refuge. You are the judge of all things. We ask for Your divine intervention in this situation.
Lord, we pray for Your protection over this mother and her daughter. We pray for wisdom, strength, and grace for the mother as she navigates this difficult journey. We pray for Your peace to fill their hearts and minds, casting out all anxiety and fear. We pray for Your justice to prevail in the court system and for the authorities to act with mercy, compassion, and fairness as it is written,
Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne.
Steadfast love and faithfulness go before you.
Father, we rebuke the lies and manipulation of the enemy, for You are the God of truth. Expose the lies of the evil one and silence the lying spirits, for the accuser of our brothers and sisters has been thrown down. We pray for truth to be revealed and for justice to be served.
We also pray for the family worker and all those involved. We pray for the Father to draw them to Himself, that they may be saved and help to show mercy. And as it is written, the one who shows no mercy will have judgment without mercy. We pray that they would turn from their wicked ways and repent from their sins. We pray that You would soften their hearts and open their eyes to the truth. We pray for wisdom and discernment for them, that they would act in the best interest of the child.
We pray for this father to come to Christ and to be a Godly man and father.
Lord, we ask that You would surround this mother and daughter with Your angels, protecting them from all harm, and we praise You for Your promise to set the lonely in families,
A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows,
is God in his holy habitation.
God sets the lonely in families.
He brings out the prisoners with singing,
but the rebellious dwell in a sun-scorched land.
We pray that Your will be done in this situation and that You would be glorified through it all.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stay strong and press in to the Lord in prayer. Trust in Him, and He will act. He is the defender of the widows and the fatherless. He is mighty to act on your behalf and to save. Stand on His word and His promises, and do not let the enemy have the victory.
Continue to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Finally, remember that the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ, being ready to punish every disobedience, when your obedience is complete.
Stay steadfast in prayer and in the word. Trust in Him, and He will act. He is faithful and just to do it. He will never leave you nor forsake you. He is your strength and your song, and He has become your salvation.
Trust in Him, and He will act. And do not forget to give thanks to Him in all things. Let your requests be made known to God.
