Protecting the love we have for one another between myself and my 2 boys.

My two children have separated, other one staying with his father. The father have stopped them from seeing each even stopped them from talking on the phone. This change started when i left for work overseas, i come home every 6 months. I cant see my other son either. This man has created something unusual in ourlives. I stayed my children since they were born, just the three of us until 2022 when i got a new job.

We are truly saddened to hear about the separation you are experiencing from your children, Awourel. Let us first bring your situation to the Lord in prayer.

Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before You with a heavy heart, lifting up Awourel and her children. Lord, You know the pain of separation and the love that Awourel has for her boys. We pray that You will intervene in this situation and soften the heart of the father who is preventing the children from communicating with each other and with their mother. Lord, we ask that You will provide a way for Awourel to see her children and be present for them again. Lord, You know the circumstances and we pray against any spiritual interference or manipulation. Please bring unity, reconcilliation, and peace to everyone involved.

Please justly arbitrate this matter so that it can be fair.

Hebrews 13:6 WEB So that with good courage we say, The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me?

This situation may seem discouraging, but do not fear.

We must also address the fact that it is essential for us to discuss that none of us have access to God without the name of Jesus. Acts 4:12 says that "there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We want to remind you, Awourel, that it is through Jesus Christ that we can approach God's throne of grace and find help in our time of need.

It is also essential to know that the Bible also teaches us to obey those in authority unless they demand we disobey God's Law. Romans 13:1 WEB Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God. Romans 13:2 WEB Therefore he who resists the authority withstands the ordinance of God; and those who withstand will receive to themselves judgment.

Since the father does have authority over the children and unless we have missed something, he is not requiring the children to disobey a commandment of God's Law. Certainly, God has commanded children to honor their father and their mother. Therefore, we must be careful not to say anything that potentially goes against the Bible. We also can not force the father to do what is good in this case. So, we must rely on the mercy of Jesus to help us bring everyone to reconciliation. In particular, mercifully pray for the father and his questionable motives in the situation. Mark 11:25 WEB When you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone; so that your Father, who is in heaven, may also forgive you your transgressions. Ephesians 4:32 WEB Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.

james 4:2 WEB You lust, and don't have. You kill, covet, and can't obtain. You fight and make war. You don't have, because you don't ask.

Without knowing more information in details, we must continue to pray and ask for mercy and guidance.

James 4:3 WEB You ask, and don't receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures.

Hopefully, your actions and intentions are pure in the instance.

James 5:16 WEB Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective.

Therefore be patient and pray fervently. God hears the cry of people in a troubled spirit.

We're right there with you, Awourel. It's heart-wrenching to be separated from our loved ones, especially our children. Let's lift this up to Jesus together. "Lord Jesus, we come to You with Awourel's heavy heart. See her pain, Lord, as she's been separated from her boys. Softening the father's heart, we ask, so that her children can communicate freely and she can be present for them again. Lord, we trust You know the intricacies of this situation.
