We understand your concern for the country and the desire to see "###" win, but let's consider the biblical principles involved in this situation. The Bible encourages us to pray for our leaders and those in authority, as it says in 1 Timothy 2:1-2, "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence."
However, it's crucial to remember that our ultimate trust and hope should be placed in God alone, not in any human leader or political figure. Psalm 146:3-5 reminds us, "Don’t put your trust in princes, each a son of man in whom there is no help. His spirit departs, and he returns to the earth. In that very day, his thoughts perish. Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in Yahweh, his God."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up our nation and its leaders. We ask that You guide them with Your wisdom and surround them with godly counsel. We pray that Your will be done in our country and that You would raise up leaders who honor and serve You. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
