We join with you, Anonymous, in lifting up the people of the Levant, specifically the Palestinian people, to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We pray for their protection, guidance, and hope. It also appears that your prayer is not receiving spiritual attention because it is not best aligned with scripture. Let us discuss this and then pray properly.
Firstly it is to be mentioned that at all times we are to believe in God, through His Son Jesus Christ
Acts 4:11 WEB Jesus is 'the stone that was regarded as worthless by you the builders, who has become the head of the corner.' 12 There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Every time we pray we must pray in Jesus Name
John 14 WEB Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Specifically, we are called to pray for all people, including those in authority, regardless of their beliefs.
1 Timothy 2:1 WEB I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: 2 including kings and all who are in positions of authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceful life in all godliness and reverence.
However we are called to be brothers of Christians only. Christians who falsely accept other people with opposing beliefs as brothers disobeys the message from God.
2 John 1:10 WEB If anyone comes to you and doesn't bring this teaching, don't receive him into your house and don't welcome him, 11 for he who welcomes him participates in his evil works.
Romans 16:17 WEB Now I beg you, brothers, look out for those who are causing the divisions and occasions of stumbling, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and turn away from them.
We are commanded to call believers only as brothers and sisters as they meet the biblical criteria for salvation and there is no biblical allowance of calling non believers brothers even if they are close to our heart.
Matthew 12:48 WEB But he answered him who told him, "Who is my mother? Who are my brothers?" 49 He stretched out his hand towards his disciples, and said, "Behold, my mother and my brothers! 50 For whoever does the will of my Father who is in heaven, he is my brother, and sister, and mother."
God clearly told His people not to accept foreigners within the assembly of believers until they were converted
Deuteronomy 23:3 WEB "An Ammonite or a Moabite shall not enter into Yahweh's assembly; even to the tenth generation shall none belonging to them enter into Yahweh's assembly forever
Based on this alone we are incapable of praying that Christian brothers be of other faiths as that is unbiblical. We can pray that other people become Christians but we are not allowed to pray that a Christian Brother be a Muslim or Jew.
Next we must understand that it imperative that God gave The Levant to the current people who live there. The land belongs to the children of Israel; it was granted to them by the Abrahamic Covenant, which is everlasting. God said the land would be handed over to other peoples if the children of Israel disobeyed Him, which they did on multiple occasions. The scripture mentions many times that God would preserve the Israelites.
Deuteronomy - Chapter 30 WEB It shall happen, when all these things have come on you, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before you, and you shall call them to mind among all the nations, where Yahweh your God has driven you, 2 and shall return to Yahweh your God, and shall obey his voice according to all that I command you today, you and your children, with all your heart, and with all your soul, 3 that then Yahweh your God will turn your captivity, and have compassion on you, and will return and gather you from all the peoples where Yahweh is scattered you.
Deuteronomy - Chapter 31 WEB But Yahweh said to Moses, "Behold, you shall sleep with your fathers; and this people will rise up, and play the prostitute after the strange gods of the land, where they go to be among them, and will forsake me, and break my covenant which I have made with them.
An example of when God replaced Israel with Gentile kings over the nations Northern Kingdom was 700 years before the birth of Christ. This didn't stop God from supporting Israel as God raised up the Babylonian Civilization to move His people to Babylon. This could have been the time of the complete end of all of Israel, but God had other plans for them. The children of Israel were sent to Babylon with Daniel for their disobedience, and God called up Cyrus the Great by name. All of this occurred before Jesus Christ was born 2000 years ago.
Isaiah 44:28 WEB WEB who says of Cyrus, 'He is my shepherd, and shall perform all my pleasure,' even saying of Jerusalem, 'She shall be built;' and of the temple, 'Your foundation shall be laid.'"
Ezra 1:2 WEB "Thus says Cyrus king of Persia, 'Yahweh, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth; and he has commanded me to build him a house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah.
God removed His people from His land twice prior to the anointing of His own son as King of the Jews. Let's not presume that God would have believed in Palestinian people over His own Son, unless they are practicing Christians. God named Cyrus to return Israel to His land. It has been declared that God will not forget Israel nor abandon His people. God has had His son named King of the Jews and we must accept this fact. The scripture is clear that God named this land for His chosen people, the descendants of Abraham. It is permanent. Then everyone will know that God is the Lord.
Genesis 17:1 WEB When Abram was ninety-nine years old, Yahweh appeared to Abram and said to him, "I am God Almighty. Walk before me and be blameless. 2 I will make my covenant between me and you and will multiply you exceedingly."
Genesis 17:7 WEB I will establish my covenant between me and you and your offspring after you, throughout their generations, for an everlasting covenant to be a God to you and to your offspring after you. 8 I will give to you, and to your offspring after you, the land where you are traveling, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession. I will be their God."
Let us pray in Jesus' name to Jehovah, the God of Heaven and Earth with clarity of God's will so far as it is revealed:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your will and Your ways for the people of the Levant. We pray for the Palestinian people, that You would reveal Yourself to them and draw them to Your Son Jesus Christ, that they may know You and be saved.
We know that these people do not turn to Jesus will perish without knowledge of repentance. Through Jesus Christ all families will be blessed if we turn to Him
Acts 3:26 WEB God, having raised up his servant, Jesus, sent him to you first to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your wickedness.
Galatians 3:8 WEB The Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the Good News to Abraham beforehand, saying, "In you all the nations will be blessed."
We also pray for the Jewish people and the descendants of Isaac, that also You may reveal to them the truth of Your word. We pray that they be blessed physically and spiritually and are holders of the Word.
We pray that Israel be a nation of Christianity and that it is respected as a holy and peacefully free land.
Romans 3:1 WEB Then what advantage does the Jew have? Or what is the profit of circumcision? 2 Much in every way! Because first of all, they were entrusted with the sacred writings of God.
We further ask that the people of Palestine turn to You be obedient. May they foster positive attitudes of thought concerning father Abraham's children and spiritual Israel, so forward may live as Godly advocates of the Holy Land.
John 8:33 WEB They answered him, "We are Abraham's offspring, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How do you say, 'You will be made free'?"
Romans 2:28 WEB For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, neither is that circumcision which is outward in the flesh; 29 but he is a Jew who is one inwardly, and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit not in the letter; whose praise is not from men, but from God.
Galatians 3:10 WEB For as many as are of the works of the law are under a curse. For it is written, "Cursed is everyone who doesn't continue in all things that are written in the book of the law, to do them."
Galatians 3:16 WEB Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his offspring. He doesn't say, "To descendants," as of many, but as of one, "To your offspring," which is Christ.
Galatians 3:29 WEB If you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's offspring and heirs according to promise.
Galatians 4:1 WEB But I say that so long as the heir is a child, he is no different from a servant, though he is lord of all; 2 but is under guardians and stewards until the day appointed by the father.
We pray Lord that you bless this holy area with the best servant leaders in the world. Promote saints of Christ throughout industry and public policy to the area. We have confidence in Israel and neighbors being spiritual leaders of the world.
We pray that peace and harmony be manifest and that wars and solemn assaults in the area subside. We pray for righteous creativity and innovation that benefits all participants.
Proverbs 14:34 WEB Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people.
Psalm 133:1 WEB See how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity!
We pray for Your guidance, protection, and provision for the Palestinian Christians. May they be a light in the darkness and ambassadors of peace. We pray for the children of the Levant, Father, that they may receive a sign of hope as they look to You.
We cast out Satan and God wannabe's in the name of Jesus Christ
Luke 4:8 WEB Jesus answered him, "Get behind me, Satan! For it is written, 'You shall worship the Lord your God, and you shall serve him only.'"
We pray for the hearts of the people of Palestine, and the whole world, to know the love of Jesus. And we pray this knowing we are all sinners in need of a saviour. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
