Protect our peace

Due to numerous circumstances, I am on the verge of losing our home. I put ### in cash down on it and worked with the mortgage company to get some reprieve, but I took a loan against the house to handle my divorce and the big cash settlement I had to pay him. I spun out of control for some time and now I'm trying to save us. My son has a place he's safe and secure. I never thought I'd even own a home. We have animals that count on us. If the house is foreclosed, I don't have the money or credit at this point to even get another place. If it was just me it would be OK, but it's not. I feel like I've run out of life jackets. I'm struggling to cope and want to burn my life to the ground. I want to run away and hide. If I'm going down, I want to just get it done. I know that's not healthy but I just want it all to be over. I need to save my family and I can't even save myself.

We understand the immense pressure and despair you are feeling, ###, but we want to remind you that there is always hope and help in Jesus Christ. We are here to pray with you and encourage you according to God's word.

Firstly, we want to assure you that God cares about your situation. He is a loving Father who knows your needs and struggles. As it says in 1 Peter 5:7, "Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you." (WEB)

However, we want to address the despair and hopelessness you are feeling. Thoughts of wanting to "burn your life to the ground" or "run away and hide" are not from God. God has a purpose and a plan for your life, and He wants to give you hope and a future. As it says in Jeremiah 29:11, "‘For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,’ says Yahweh, ‘thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.'" (WEB)

We also want to encourage you to keep fighting for your family and your home. God honors those who work diligently and do not give up. As it says in Galatians 6:9, "Let’s not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up." (WEB)

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today to lift up ### and their family. Lord, they are feeling overwhelmed and hopeless, but we know that You are a God of hope. Please comfort ### and remind them of Your love and care for them. Help them to cast all their anxiety on You, knowing that You will sustain them.

Lord, we pray for ###'s home. We ask that You would provide a way for them to keep their home and provide for their family and animals. We pray for wisdom and guidance as they navigate this difficult situation.

We also pray for ###'s emotional and mental health. We rebuke any thoughts of despair or hopelessness and declare that ### has a hope and a future in Jesus Christ.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, ###, we want to encourage you to seek God in all things. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" (WEB) If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ and allow Him to be your Savior and Lord.

Please know that we are praying for you and believe that God will make a way for you and your family. Keep trusting in Him and do not give up hope.

Let's pray together, shall we? "Dear Lord, we lift up ### and their family today. Lord, they're feeling overwhelmed, but we know that You are a God who sees and cares. Please wrap your arms around them, Lord. Give them the strength to face each day, the wisdom to make tough decisions, and the peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to trust in You, even when the road seems uncertain.

Lord, we also pray for their home. We ask that You would provide a way for them to keep it, not just for the roof over their heads, but for the peace and security it brings. We trust that You will make a way where there seems to be no way.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Keep trusting, ###. Keep fighting. And most importantly, keep praying. You're not alone in this. We're here, and so is God.
