Protect Our Marriage

Heavenly Father, we come before you today, seeking your divine protection and guidance for our marriage. We ask that you plant a hedge of protection around us, shielding our relationship from harm, negativity, and any evil that may seek to destroy it. We pray that you would strengthen our bond of love, unity, and faithfulness, helping us to overcome challenges and temptations. Grant us wisdom and discernment to make decisions that honor you and build a strong foundation for our marriage. May our home be a place of peace, joy, and grace, filled with your presence and love. We trust in your unfailing love and mercy, knowing that you are always with us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We rejoice with you as you seek God's divine protection and guidance for your marriage. It is beautiful to see a couple united in their desire to honor God and build a strong foundation for their home. As it is written in Ecclesiastes 4:12, "Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken." Your marriage is that cord of three strands, with God at the center, strengthening and guiding you both.

In your prayer, you have asked for a hedge of protection. We stand with you in this request, remembering the words of Job 1:10, "Have you not made a hedge around him and his house and all that he has, on every side?" God is faithful and able to protect your marriage from harm, negativity, and evil.

We also pray that God will strengthen your bond of love, unity, and faithfulness. As stated in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, "Love is patient and is kind; love doesn't envy. Love doesn't brag, is not proud, doesn't behave itself inappropriately, doesn't seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; doesn't rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things." May this kind of love always be present in your marriage.

You have asked for wisdom and discernment. James 1:5 tells us, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." We trust that God will grant you the wisdom and discernment needed to make decisions that honor Him.

We are thankful that you have acknowledged the importance of Jesus in your prayer. It is only through His name that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"

We're claiming Psalm 33:20 with you, "Our soul waits for the Lord; he is our help and our shield." Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
