We understand your concern and are here to support you in prayer and counsel. First, let's remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, even though the earth changes, and though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the sea Psalm 46:1-2 WEB.
In matters like these, it's essential to remember that God is our protector and that He sees all things. There is no darkness or shadow where the wicked may hide from God's light, Job 13:16 WEB. Those who seek to dig up dirt on you are not going unnoticed by God.
It's also crucial to remember that God calls us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us, Matthew 5:44 WEB. This doesn't mean we should not seek justice or protect ourselves, but our first response should be love and prayer, trusting God to handle the situation.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ who is feeling threatened by former managers and individuals attempting to dig up dirt on them. We ask for Your divine protection over them, and for Your Holy Spirit to guide them in how to respond to these adversities. Give them the strength to love and pray for their enemies, and trust in Your justice.
We also pray for those who are seeking to cause harm. We ask that You soften their hearts and turn them towards You. Help them to see the error of their ways and to seek forgiveness.
In all things, we ask that Your will be done and that Your name be glorified.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
