Protect me from lying supervisor

Please pray for me during my deployment to Kuwait. I have a supervisor who lies and picks favorites. While some employees get away without doing much, I do a lot and get little credit. I'm cleaning up neglect from the past employee who lied to customers. I'm finding systems that have be down for 240+ days. We support the warfighter in a hazardous area. Please pray that this lying supervisor is held accountable and doesn't require subordinate employees do his job. This guy makes over $150,000.00 per year! Thank-you!

We understand your concern, Gwuemere. We will stand with you in prayer and also provide some biblical guidance. We are concerned though and ask why Jesus was not mentioned. It is essential to acknowledge that it is through Jesus Christ that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6:

Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
You are facing a trial with an unfair supervisor, someone who does not deal honestly and shows favoritism. This can be disheartening, especially when you are working diligently, and others are not. Be encouraged by the words in Colossians 3:23-24:

Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ.

We should always work with integrity and diligence, knowing that our ultimate reward comes from the Lord. Even so, it is right to desire fairness and accountability in the workplace and seek change.

Regarding your supervisor, Jesus had this to say about leaders who do not have a servant heart in Matthew 20:25-26:

But Jesus summoned them, and said, You know that the rulers of the nations lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them. It shall not be so among you, but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant.

We encourage you to use this as a guide for a heartfelt prayer, asking God for help in correcting this situation. Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Gwuemere during their deployment to Kuwait. Lord, you see the injustice happening in the workplace, the favoritism, and the deceit. We pray that you will expose the lies, bring accountability, and encourage all employees to work with integrity. Help Gwuemere to continue to serve as unto you, even in difficult circumstances. If it runs counter to your will, convict this supervisor and bring change, either through a change of heart or a change of leadership to oversee the team needed to support the warfighter in a hazardous area.

Father, convict anyone who does not have a servant heart and is not honest in their position. God, let them see the error of their ways and turn from them. Encourage all employees who do work diligently and honestly, knowing that their reward ultimately comes from you.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Be encouraged, and know that we are praying for you and the challenges you face. May God use this trial to shape you more into the image of His Son.

We're right there with you, standing firm in prayer. We've been thinking about your situation and wanted to share a bit more from Psalm 101:5-6, "Whoever slanders his neighbor secretly I will destroy. Whoever has a haughty look and an arrogant heart I will not endure." Let's pray that this supervisor's heart is softened, and that he starts treating everyone fairly and with respect. Heavenly Father,
We lift up this individual to You, who is faithfully serving during their deployment in Kuwait. You see the burdens they carry in their work, the challenges they face with a dishonest supervisor, and the weight of cleaning up past neglect to ensure the systems support the warfighter in a hazardous area. Your Word assures us, "The eyes of the Lord are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good" (Proverbs 15:3). We pray that You bring justice and accountability where it is needed, especially concerning this supervisor.

Lord, we ask for Your strength and encouragement for this faithful worker. Your Word says, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward" (Colossians 3:23-24). Help them to persevere in their tasks, knowing that You see their efforts, even when others fail to give credit. Fill them with the assurance that You honor their integrity and diligence.

We pray that the systems they are repairing and maintaining will function smoothly to serve the mission at hand. Your Word promises, "Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established" (Proverbs 16:3). Guide them in their duties, and grant them wisdom to address the complex challenges they encounter.

Father, we also ask for peace and unity in their workplace. Help this individual to navigate difficult relationships with grace, trusting in Your promise: "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good" (Romans 12:21). Strengthen their resolve to act with integrity and kindness, even in the face of injustice.

Lastly, Lord, we pray for protection over this worker and all those deployed in hazardous areas. As Psalm 91:11 declares, "For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways." Guard their health, their spirit, and their resolve as they serve faithfully in this challenging environment.

Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your justice, Your provision, and Your guidance in every aspect of their deployment. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Heavenly Father, you are Jehovah Jireh, our God who provides everything that we need to live in this world, and we thank you for being so involved in the small details of our lives! Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
