"A talebearer reveals secrets, but he who is of a faithful spirit conceals a matter." (Proverbs 11:13 WEB)
"Where there is no wood, the fire goes out; and where there is no whispered gossip, contention ceases." (Proverbs 26:20 WEB)
Gossip is not only hurtful but also sinful, and it's important to remember that we have no control over others' actions, but we can control our response. Here's a heartfelt prayer for you:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up ###. Lord, we ask for Your protection over their life, especially from any gossip or harmful words that may be spoken against them. Help them to find peace and comfort in You, knowing that You are their shield and defender. Give them the strength to forgive those who may be speaking ill of them, and guide their words and actions to reflect Your love and grace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to focus on God's love for you and not the words of others. Remember, "If God is for us, who can be against us?" (Romans 8:31 WEB)
